If you are a 1/4 mile drag racer it will hurt your 60' times. Other than that you'll be fine. It will actually help you at the higher speeds. Good luck!!

Just curious.....how does lowering the car hurt your drag times?

Lowering reduces weight transfer to the rear wheels when accelerating, therefore the tires tend to spin rather than "hook up."

lowering over all is better for your car unless dragging as mentioned. Less air traveling under your car allowing it to handle better, less drag, better weight distribution, and it looks good!

It works the other way around, the less space below the car the less air turbulence.

Does the car rider harsher with H&R lowering springs?

Does the 60ft rate all depend on the spring rates - compression rebound, etc. If it's softer than stock wouldn't it improve?

The first product I bought for my car was H&R spring. It looks very nice and I loved how it looks but I just did not like how it feels. I like stiff car but it made car really soft for me so I took it out in just 1 day. But for people who likes soft ride I think that its very good. I want to lower my car so I'm going with KW Coilover Clubsport. So I can do the set up how I like it. This is just my comment.

Depends on how low you go. My car has no wheels gap at all and I have to drive SUPER SLOW when I see potholes or go over bumps. It looks great tho.

HIRO - did you have the P30 before the H&Rs or just the AMG stock?

i dont see a reason how it will affect your cars performance in anyway besides helping improve it.
one, you will be low, center of gravity which will improve aerodynamics
and two, handling will be a lot sharper.

GL, and post pics of how the C63 would look with H&Rs, after reading this thread, i did a mass search, and found nothing regarding C63 on H&Rs, keep us posted!

I have P30. Stock P30 does have good set up so I dont want to touch that much but I just have to lower my car

So just swapping the springs for H&Rs loosened the suspension some / a little?

Yes it really did. So for people who likes that loosened feeling then its just perfect. But for person like me who likes that stiff feeling then you would not like it.

Before I bought this H&R spring I was asking a lot of people what is the rate for spring in P30 but no one knew. For dealer they could not tell us. I think it was secret. So it was gamble for me. If the rate of spring was softer I would have never bought it. But I guess it was softer.

I think it would improve on the PP, those stock springs are extremely hard.

Yea I agree, H&Rs are softer than stock. Not sure on the technical terms but maybe more rebound, but without the body roll. I think the impression is that softer means worse handling, but I think it's been the opposite because I have more control. And I'm guessing it'll improve 60ft times by transferring the weight to the rear and not bouncing off the floor bc it's so stiff.
