Dirty Breaks

You need to be very carefull with the chemicals that you use for the calipers. Some degreasers will eat away the clear coat on the caliper.
I personally use a 4 stroke gasoline power washer with a 40 degree nozzle so it sprays mist at high velocity. I also have a 25 a 15 and a 0 degrees nozzle but the zero degree nozzle can actually chip the paint away.
As per the rims, I use tons of detergent and water with a cloth and I rinse and dry the whole thing very well.

how dirty do your brakes get??
Ive done one car wash this entire winter and even then all the dirt/brake dust came right off my calipers with soap and water.
As for rotors, do what someone else said. Drive around the block and brake.
