I think a new friendly rivalry was born on the road course, Rick's CLS and my brothers CLS where battling it out all day. On the autocross track, My brothers CLS55 came in 1st place and I think Rick was a close 3rd, So stupid M3 sneaked into the 2nd spot. Not bad for a bigger 4 door
Then on the road course these two CLS's where up eachothers rear end most of the day. As they pulled into the pits laughing, you could tell some shenanigans where taking place out there.
Here is a quick sound bite of the MBH CLS55 and MBH equipped CLS63 pulling onto the track

I might consider it when I get an SL55, The tri-y is very labor intensive to make... So starting over and making a whole new 55 header would be alot of work. I'm always game for trying new things though.
Burger King, Rick and I are going to half to call a head next time at Famoso, to make sure they are ready for us at BK. There is nothing around there except oil fields. That Chicken sandwich saved my stomach from eating itself.

Hooly crap those 63 MBH Long tubes sound BAD AZZ The power of the car is insane Full on wheel spin at will with esp on. I drove the car around a bit today in San diego and it has tq from hell, Great job Hooley. And after a whole day of tracking the car I can say this project turned out FANTASTIC. I can say that from now on I will attened every road race event I can. What a thrill. I still like drag racing but my new love is the road coarse. Just hearing the engine screamin at high rpm is a high. lap after lap the car gets stronger and stronger. It's time for a Fontana ROAD RACE DAY . I'll start another post on the project soon.. DYNO_COMP thanks for a great day of racing

Yeah those chicken sandwiches last time saved me as well and they tasted awesome in the process .... actually, I think those sandwiches pretty much saved every racer out there that day since no one wanted to drive their cars to get some food because they were trying cool the cars off. So basically without Rick, many people would've starved that day However, he I discovered his evil plan later on..... he was trying to make us each gain a few pounds so we can run slower times and he'd be the only running fast times As Juicee.... he fell for it the most

Congrats on the numbers Hooley... As expected, the Tri-Y headers increased low end torque as low as 2500. That's one of the big benefits of the Tri-Y design. I am curious to know exactly what was happening at 3200-3300rpm, they got pretty close to one another.
Great results, Keep up the good work

My headers (with cats) have been ready for quite some time but I am a month behind schedule in driving out to Scottsdale to get them installed and then have the C63 Renntech-tuned. It'll happen soon...stay tuned. MBH has been very patient but I'm sure all parties will find the wait has been worthwhile.
