MBH Tri-Y vs 4 into 1 longtube **Dyno**
Here is a dyno chart of the MBH motorsports Tri-Y header vs competitors conventional 4 into 1 long tube header. Same car, same dyno, same tune... header vs header. Here are the results. The blue is MBH the red is competitors

so looks like about 15whp max whp different and about 15wtq max different? pretyt significant to me. getting 15whp and 15wtq more out of one header than another is pretty significant.

Cool. Looks like you picked up another 10-15 RWHP/RWTQ with the new headers, a little less in other parts of the power band. Are you happy with these results?
How many before and after runs? Were these two pulls the highest of the before and the highest of the after?

yeah this is Rick's car. Rick made like 480whp later in the day. Then they hit the nitrous and.... holy heck, it was insane. I'm saving that number for him. But it was with in 5whp for that jet. Lets just say its one of the biggest numbers I've seen from Mercedes.

Actually, if you knew the whole history then you might think differently. Original owner/customer put some Rnntech headers and made X power over the stock, he then had GS build/fabricate him some long tube headers which yielded 40whp in top of what the Renntech made(are you still following me?).
Finally, MBH made their longtube headers and they are making 15whp in top of what GS made which is 40whp more that what Renntech made so we are talking like 60whp plus compare to stock.!! You are just not seing the big picture. These headers top of any otherprevious header tested on his car by a long shot.
These new headers are in paper the winning headers, at least that is my opinion. my .2c

Congrats!! that is megapower. I have been on that same dyno years ago. I had back then a 02 WRX with every bolt on and only made 280whp/255lb-tq, again, on the same dyno and the same rollers that rolled those Mercedes Benz tires. I am saying 475whp on that dyno is megapower

Great numbers Mike, I can't wait for the NOS numbers
Rick's car is fairly modded.... it would be great to see some numbers on a stock car as well for comparison. Off the top of my head, this is some of his mods:
- Long Tube Headers with cat delete and resonator delete
- Carbonio Air Boxes (unless he switched to the RennTech ones already, which he was considering not too long ago)
- Evosport light-weight pulley system
- Custom RennTech Tune
- NOS Setup (80 to 100 shot)
- 109 Octane race gas tune
- Light weight brembo GT brakes + Light weight rims (except when the car is in a car show, it runs on 20" V )
- A few other goodies we don't know about yet
EDIT: ooops.... hooley beat me to it....

Rick still has some aftermarket resonators in the exhaust, Not like that makes any power though. Believe it or not even with the resonators in, his car sounds so damn nice.
Rick does have a carbonio airbox, I forgot about that. It must be in the huge box-o-stuff he brought to us. I can do a quick dyno test tomorrow: Carbonio vs RENNtech, that should make for a cool dyno comparison.

Wait.......does that mean if you install primary cats on these headers, the power level will still be equivalent to the competitor's headers?

its hard to say, each car is a bit different. Supporting mods help. I think its safe to say with a primary cat installed over all numbers for both headers would be a bit less.
