Opinion on carbon fiber option

Just curious if anybody has the carbon fiber option on a white with beige interior. If so, how does it look? I've heard some say negatives about this combo.

I can purchase a car with this option, but, haven't seen it.

Appreciate all opinions.

Thanks

I haven't seen the color combo you note above, but I special ordered a C63 with the carbon fiber interior (black on black) and then decided that I couldn't wait and took another black on black car w/out CF off the lot. I thought that I could live without the CF.

It was a terrible mistake - I really, really wish I had the CF interior (I think the black wood trim - which I thought was fine for the first two weeks I had the car - looks like ***** now).

So, be sure you get what you like - you will spend a lot of time looking at it. Personally, I think that the CF is gorgeous, and can't imagine it would look bad with any color interior. However, you need to make sure it is what YOU like.

ATL MB, if you're upset with the route you went.. perhaps you can find a local store which can CF wrap the interior trim. Or if you choose to DIY, you can always order large cut outs of CF weave off of eBay as I've seen on this forum and many others, and apparently it isn't that difficult either!

And to the OP, I don't believe I've ever seen a car that looks anything but amazing with CF trim. A friend of mine who owns an M6.. all I can say is WOW! I'd say go for it.

Yes
Count me as different - I think the CF trim looks tacky and played out. We used to have CF trim in our Integras and Eclipses...would rather see some nice dark maple wood in my benz. Nevermind the absolutely insane price tag. Not into it, personally, but to each their own.

Carbon fiber

Thanks guys on your opinion on the Carbon fiber. The car I'm looking at already has it. I just wanted to confirm if it's a good combo. Oh, I haven't seen the car. It will need to be traded by another dealer for me to purchase it.

Yeah, I have been looking at getting the CF installed - may do it, may try to live with it. Haven't decided yet. My local dealer (The Performance Center at MB of Buckhead) has an aftermarket supplier that they say is much less $ than the OEM, but just as good. We'll see.
