Champion Motorsport recently submitted a tuned 997.2 w/ PDK for independent testing on a closed circuit. 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, 0-100 in 6.1, standing 1/4 mile in 10.6 @ 133+. Mind you, this vehicle was just recently released, and most new hardware/software is still under development.
Suffice it to say, the 997.2TT should hold its own against most any other performance vehicle, assuming equal driving capabilities (although the TT should be close to idiot-proof, with AWD and PDK).

C/D tested the 997.2TT w/ PDK and achieved 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, 0-100 in 6.8, and 1/4 mile in 11.0 @ 128. That's damn fast for a bone-stock vehicle, easily besting the ZR1 that they were comparison-testing against (which itself is no slouch).

Porsche did a facelift to the 997 models beginning with the MY09 cars. They did some minor cosmetic changes to the body (e.g., LED lights fore and aft) along with some changes to the interior (black finished PCM with a nav system that utilizes a solid state memory vice DVD based, along with other interior electronic gadgets (hookups for iPods)). The biggest change is the engine. The engine has been completely reworked with a Direct Injection fueling system. On the transmission front, they finally offered a PDK automatic transmission, which took the place of the Tiptronic.

The 2010 Turbo is different in several ways. Perhaps the most significant, the 997.2TT has an all-new 3.8L Direct-injected engine, and is the first turbo with PDK as an available option. Also has some other pretty neat options available.
EDIT: Infamouz nailed it above.

Despite the impressive performance it recently lost in a head to head test with the SLS.

I think the 2.6s is stretching it a bit.
I know they can achieve 3s consecutively .. although 2.6? I doubt it. You also have to consider it's anywhere between 300-500kg lighter then a Veyron. This is the main reason why it can achieve such a great 0-60 time with far less ponies to back it up; respectively, such is true with most Porsche's..

C63 AMG Arctic w/ Stage 1 Tune, DoubleXX pipe, MCD-631X coming soon
The new DFI motors however are hard to modify, software guys have been struggling big time. The ONLY mod I've seen work on ANY of the new DFI motors is the IPD DFI plenum, other than that nothing else seems to be working very well.

AFAIK, the only big question-mark in many folks' minds is "where is the ceiling for this new engine?" - and several have hypothesized it may ultimately end up being lower than the 3.6L GT1-derived powerplant from the 996TT and 997.1TT (which is capable of 1,000+ hp when appropriately modified).

EVOMS via their EVOMSit tuning, and Champion via their proprietary GIAC tuning, seem to have achieved pretty solid results so far.

I would have to disagree, as there are things happening in the REAL world that people are NOT talking about in terms of what EVOMS (which we are in very close contact with) are having happen with the DFI cars, so I would not go out on a limb and say that they have solid performance yet..Also, as an example, the Cayman S DFI is not picking up any power from any mod whatsoever..Until IPD developed their plenum which woke the car right up.
Since you disagree, what is going on in the REAL world that people are NOT talking about, on the specific topic of 997.2TT tuning? Evidentiary findings on an N/A DFI engine, from a different model, is interesting but otherwise not pertinent to this discussion.

This thread is specifically about the 997.2TT, a forced-induction DFI engine. No one was talking about any other vehicle. When I said EVOMSit and GIAC seem to have pretty solid results so far, I was specifically referring to their hw/sw tuning results for the 997.2TT, as it's the topic of this thread.
