@ OP-I wouldn't change the leather unless you are doing a two-tone job. But still a shame to throw away good cow skin.

OP--How about a Car upholstry shop around Toronto, there's alot of them in California. They pretty much do anything you tell them

Two-tone is the way to go IMO. Perforated leather inserts, maybe a black/gray combo...I have thought about it for a while now.

If that's the case, keep all your factory leather and just restitch red. Get the thick string to make it pop more. Black leather with red double stitch would look sick.
