Guys, update on rubber mat. Got mine today. Please see pics. Sorry for quality of pics, but I just arrived home from business trip and it is 11:30pm. Pic of PN# for confirmation. Fits perfect. Cost $5.00. Hope your dealerships can get you this part. Let me know.

$5? ****e. My dealer charged me $11 for the damn ashtray mat! That thing'll set us back $25 here in the States!

are you sure about that? This thing cost 110KC = $5.00 and that included 20% VAT tax. It is very simple little thing...must have cost them $0.15 to make

Oh, I'm sure the ashtray cost me $11. And based upon size and weight of MB rubber I've got to think that drinkholder mat will be right in the $25 neighborhood. Maybe not. Hell, my dealer still hasn't confirmed it can get the part even though it's standard in the 2010 E63.

Hmmm, ok. Let me know how things work out and if your dealer can get the part or not and how much. Not sure if the other guys have the same issues or not. If you can't get them in US for some reason, I am sure we can work something out about getting them here.

Just heard from my parts guy that the part has been ordered and should arrive next week. It must be coming from the Czech Republic. ;-)

I know what we'd do. We'd overpay, that's what. And with the $1100 pricetag for the E63 console in the US I believe most of us would go without if Dave didn't come along and do us all a solid. Thanks again, Dave. I will buy your hood emblem if the Chinese guy pulls through.

Didn't want to appear cheap enough to ask! He's worked pretty hard looking up all the Euro part numbers and VIN's I was feeding him for a while, all ending in him getting me $30 in parts!

Ok, no problem. For the guys who ordered their consoles in the 2nd order, please let me know if you want this rubber mat added to your console. Cost will be $5.00 and will be put into the console box with the other parts. Please let me know buy PM or post here.

Guys, I will start a list of people who want the rubber mat to Euro Console to keep this simple. I will close this order Wednesday of next week and the place order. Shipping should be $2 max. Here is who I have so:

FYI - I have had several people ask me to buy the cup-holder and as per the thread you can buy this cheaper than me sending it from Europe. It is for sale at MB Online here...

Just got the final piece and am pleased with how my $300 expenditure turned out. Thanks again to Dave.

And now, after seeing this upgrade and the AMG screws for my license plate, my wife now officially thinks I'm out of my mind. Surprised it took her so long.

How do you guys get away with all the expensive performance mods?

lie, hide, late nights on the computer, tell her they are for friend, that you found them on the side of the road, and if all else fails tell her it is cheaper than having a mistress!
