Few questions??

Hello guys, i had a couple questions for my gf's car, any input would be greatly appreciated. The hard drive wont record the CD's in its memory, it'll like skip thru the option to record, has this happened to anybody? and what should i look for? i tried resetting it but it still does it?

And my second question is about the tires, it has been rainy out here the past week and the car feels like its hydro planning when its doing over 50mph, it only has 6500 miles and i don't think they tires need to be replaced yet, are this tires not meant to be used on rain at all?

Music has to be in mp3 format.

Check the tread. Tires can be used in the rain.

Hydroplaining equation speed: 9 X square root of tire pressure psi

ie 9 x square root of 40 psi = 9 x 6.32 = 57 mph

What tire pressure are you running?

wow that's a pretty general equation, and it totally leaves out surface area of the tire and tread depth. Might work in a general sense but I could see how it can be WAYY off.

If you have a regular CD say a bought CD from your retail store or whatever you could record those onto the HD. However, mp3 burned data cd will not be able to be recorded.
You also have 6500 miles on your tires. Check the tire tread. Many people have already changed a set of tires by then.

the CD issue looks like it solved it self, and is working properly now.

The tires are the stock tires and i actually got under the car and looked and they are completely bold on the inside, what do you guys recommend i should get next? I have Yokohama S drive 255 35 18 on the rear of my C43 and i really like them and i wonder if they would work on the C63? i actually surprised the 63 has 245's

C63 should have 235 front 255 rear. Not sure the tire to use but think you should match it to the capabilities of the car at least.

Good to hear the CD is working.

thank you, so 235 40 18 front and 275 35 18 rear and it wouldn't bug the ECU, last time i tried that on the C43 it would shut off the ECU after a mile

You can fit 245 on the front if you want.
