hit curb

Man i am freaking crying right now i mean i am so pissed off at myself it is now even funny.I dont deserve to drive this car. I have it for a week and I just hit a curb today and my sterring wheel looks a bit odd after I hit a curb I probably hit goint 30 or 40 miles per hour. Now do you think I did a lot of damage to my car? I feel like a freaking gyps i I just wish someone punched me in the face before I hit a curb freaking moron!!!

Sorry to hear about your incident... at least you are ok... cars can be fixed, not lives. We all do mistakes while driving, just take it positif & learn from this misfortune. Good luck with the repairs.

Seriously, this thread is worthless without pics and a better description of what you did to precipitate such a tremendous fail.

You should be glad your only injuries are you your car and your ego.

I mean Im happy that everythin is fine with me but damn I wish I broke my leg or something and that nothing happend to the car. I just hate when I damage my sweet car damn I ll never do that again. Its not about money its about my car I just love it and I feel like I am a complete idiot that should be driving a toyota or FIAT 500

I still not used to the car so when I drifted I thought I was gonna make the second turn but I thought very wrongly and I jumped on curb with my front right wheel and immidiately I could see that my steering wheel moved to the right and that sometthing broke or moved

You may have hit hard enough to have bent something in the suspension or steering. Even if it aligns to spec (if that is what the dealer does) take measurements at four or five points from the wheel to the body to make sure the wheel is located exactly in the same place in the wheel well as the other wheel...make sure it is not shifted back or otherwise displaced. The good thing is that this kind of damage can be easily fixed...your car will be as good as new.

Plus 1, learn from your mistakes and move forward. Discipline, experience and control is needed for these type of cars.

hitting curbs at speed can do some serious damage. You may have some bent tie rods, and you may have bent a wheel/bubbled a tire.

.
In the rain, I slid into a curb in the parking way back in college and it bent the lower control arm and subframe.

Sorry, but it can be fixed. Just dont do high speeds obviously until it gets lifted and checked. Tie rod will send you flying with sparks if not repaired and it breaks all the way...
