Few little mods...

Hi everyone, I finally found time to take pics of my new little mods...

1) CF rear diffuser... the fitment is not perfect, but it looks classy!

2) Smoked reverse/turn signal in the tailight... I didn't want them too dark.. match my front markers well..

3) Smoked sidemarkers... good match with the headlights.

4) OEM trunk mats from the dealership... fits like a glove!

5) Tint w/ factory finish & quality. 35% sides & 20% rear metallic black film... dealt w/ the same company who does MB cars for my dealership. I will update when my new wheels will arrive...

alqamzi, I got my trunk mat at the dealership... 120$can, which is reasonbale imo for a perfect fit. It will be easier to wash away the dirt afterwards.

Swiftler, I'm not planning to add a CF trunk spoiler... it would stand out too much on a white car. I'm more interested in a CF front lip & CF roof spoiler. We'll see after I finish paying for my wheels... hehehe!

I prefer the smoked side markers over the clears 'cuz it matches the headlights better. I will post the trunk mat part number tomorrow after I find the receipt.

Which diffuser is that ? Car looks very good. Good job on tinting the tails. Did you just use film ?

2010C63amg, the trunk shallow mat PART# is 204-814-01-41. I paid 121$can (+tax) exactly.

evenmoney, I was thinking of getting the painted markers, but the lights will not shine through... which makes it more illegal where I live. I did it on my Lexus IS, it looks good... just have to avoid cops.

philipangoo, I bought the Suvneer CF diffuser... great price & fitment is suprisingly good. It fits so tight I had to use grease on the tabs to snap them in. As for the tails, you could get film for the reverse portion on this forum... but I went for tint spray since I was getting my windows tinted by the tint shop. They did a great job, I had the option to tell them how many coats to apply... I didn't want them dark, so I went 2 coats.

Looks good, like it a lot. Tasteful mods.

I have the smoked side markers too and I'm thinking of smoking out the middle/clear part of the taillights like yours. Might also do the headlights. Can I ask how you did it ?

I got my tint shop to do it while getting my windows tinted... it's spray tint on the tails, more durable... and I had the option to pick how dark I wanted them. I just went light to match the front markers.

If you don't want something permanent, you can always buy the tint film fron don nguyen on this forum... but I'm not sure if they have different shades of darkness?

I have White and got the smoked side markers. I think they are the best looking of the 3 options including clear or painted.
