Best tune for P31
What do you guys think would be the best ECU tune for a P31? I am just wondering if there has been any tested on a P31 and if so what the performance was. It would be nice to know if any of the Kleeman, Eurocharged, etc., etc. tunes work for it.

P31 is just a package, not a different engine. All tunes are the same for the C63 has nothing to do with packages or options

It does have a different ECU tune so I am wondering about the consequences for that. P31 raises the hp to about 480 so I am wondering if any of the tunes would be affected by that.

The belief is the additional power for the P31 is all coming from P31's revised ECU.
I'd love to see some data.

2013 ML63 AMG PP
I remember one of the main guys at AMG in Germany, telling me P31 does have different internals which are taken from the SLS. Don't really know much more in detail but it's supposed to be more free reving in addition to the power jump than the non-P31 engines.
He completely dodged my questions on why they don't just offer the 525hp as an option rather than stopping at approx 480hp. The real answer would probably have been, it will then eat all the other AMGs for breakfast, save the 65 black series and SLS.
