You want to really appreciate your car?
Go without it for a while and drive something else bad!
We live 9 months in Arizona and 3 months in Oregon. For whatever reason, I had all kinds of trouble getting someone available to ship my car in mid-May to Oregon. My wife didn't want us to drive to separate cars, so I decided to take a truck from my business in Oregon. It's a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado with 126k miles of abuse by my employees!
I can't wait to go back and drive my C63!

i feel your pain on that one . i sold my subaru forester sti and my turbo g35 for the money to get my c63 amg . waiting for my c63 , i had to get a rental . they gave me a dodge calibur . i would rather have taken the bus . the calibur feels like it has 40 horsepower . i almost got killed a couple of times trying to merge into traffic . when you go from horsepower to no power , it's quite scarry .

My wife has an inifinit FX35, not a powerhouse by any means, but atleast still fun to drive for a small SUV (and it has a great exhaust note for a V6)... Guess I am lucky heh...

C350 4Matic
I got my wife a C350 4Matic last year. She had it one year and I ordered her a new one. She had to drive her brothers 97 Ford taurus for 3 months. She told me the same thing. She said she didnt feel safe, the car wouldn't make turns like she was use to. It shook and rattled, had no power and bounced all over the highway when she hit dips at higher speeds. LOL, I told her she was spoiled!

Overbudget: Was thinking about you since you haven't posted in a while. How is the VRP (Vadim) tuned car running nowadays?
I drive my parent's old 190e (2.3) that they got tired of fixing as a DD. Such a difference when I hop into my C63.

2004 S55 (SOLD, miss it every day), 2009 GL550
It doesn't take driving another car for me to *really* appreciate my S55. I am constantly saying to my self "I love this car", and not just when I am stomping on it.

I think my situation I have been in was the worst!
Dealership gave me a Smart Car for a week due to service and warranty issues.
That Smart car... Everytime the gear shifts your body shoots forward with the car like someone just accelerated really hard...
It gave me a headache.
