Door Dent on my new Beast!
While I was detailing my two-week baby yesterday, I discovered a nasty dent on the right rear door along with some paint chips. Some fool must have slammed his door against my car.
How serious is this damage? Should I bring the car to the dealership? How much would it cost? Any bodyshop recommendation in GTA area?

Generally, they will repaint the entire door, and fortunately, since its new, they won't have to deal with blending new pain with slightly faded older paint on cars that have some wear and tear on them. Figure 3 or 4 hours of labour plus cost of paint supplies. Thats my best guess.
I currently have a quote for my front end that was hit by a friend while I was parked, came close to $1000 USD, and it was extremely minor damage (will post a pic at some point when I get them off my wifes camera). Body shops are unfortunately not cheap.

Don't worry. With all the advancements in techniques and materials you will look good as new again. We must be prepared to understand that this will happen, we just have to repair and hit the road again. I would take to dealership for sure because they will go out of their way to make it MB perfect...
Hope you can get it fixed and wash her down soon again...

The dealer here doesn't do bodywork, but they are quick to rack up a bill. The job is then outsourced to a certified body shop that sends their guy to do the bodywork at the dealership itself. If that's the case with you, then speak to to the guy directly -- they usually charge sixty percent (or less) of the quoted price.
I park at the most lonesome part of the parking lot, but I don't mind the walk.

If you have some 3m suction cup, most of it can be repaired and might require a little touch up if you don't want to pay the full price. I have a Hero Hd cam and I' used the 3m suction cup to repair dings on other cars, it works great!

You are not going to get that dent out with any suction cup. I have a "Wurth" style glue-tab PDR tool for small dings and it wouldn't pull that; it is too deep and sharp. You will be able to get a PDR guy to "massage" the rear of the dent out that will take care about 90% of it, but then again, the paint is chipped and with a dark colored car, any thouchup paint will show. So, I wouldn't pay a body shop more than 3.0 to fix that dent, but you will need to add detrim time and refinishing (paint) of the door. Since you have a black car, there really isn't a need to blend any adjacent panels (especially if the painter is good at what he/she does) and if they bring that up, tell them what I just old you. At a bodyshop, figure it costing you $500-$600.

Sorry to hear of this, however i agree with the other post - that isnt a door ding but some other type of damage.
Anyhow a good paint shop will fix it better than new - dont pay the dealers marked up prices, find out who they use and go direct. Also avoid a smart repair - it wont last - you need a proper bodyshop fix
I am in the UK, the people are morons, i parked my wifes audi convertible in a normal space not far from the doors at 6am on a saturday morning to go shopping for a planned bbq. When i came out 1 1/2 hours later, some **** had keyed most of the front wing

You guys use the word, "****" in the UK?

yeah we use it mate lol, esp to describe those morons that damage other peeoples property. It doesnt mean the same as in the US but we have another 4 letter word for that, starts with a "c" and ends with a "t" and again, doesnt mean what it does in the US
