Matte grey C63!
I was in the dealership the other day, spotted this "Edition 63" matte grey C63 (designo Magno Allanite Grey). I must say, it looked awesome in the flesh. Sorry about the quality.. I took some really quick iphone pics, they don't do the car any justice.
The Edition 63 is only available in Australia. Other features of this package incl:
- 19" multi-spokes (starting to like these the more I see them)
- upgraded diff
- designo sand leather (always wanted black, but now I'm not so sure..)
- leather dashboard/armrests w/ contrasting stitching
- illuminated AMG door sills
- AMG gear lever, mats etc..
Like I said, I always wanted a black/black c63. This thing is really growing on me. Could be going back tomorrow to purchase, but I'd like to see what you guys think first.

2009 c63
saw this color on a clk at my local dealer and I literally could stop touching the car's surface for the better part of 10 minutes - I always thought I'd be a matte black guy, but the matte finish on this color is much more striking

Haha yeah, I couldn't stop touching it either! My only doubt is what it will look like in direct sunlight, I've seen a couple of matte black cars in the sun and they didn't appeal to me at all.

Where do you see brown there? It's Sahara Beige with matte gray and IMO you can't go wrong with that combo! Go for it - after seeing hundreds of cars with matte vinyl wraps and a just a few with matte finish paint from the facotry, I must say that the quality and overall effect of the matte designo paint just blows my mind It costs 4500Euro in Germany!
Don't think too long about it because you'll change your mind. Go tomorrow to the dealer and buy it

I'd be all over that car if I could get the same thing in an Estate version.
Why can't Daimler export the C63 Estate here? They're going to go ahead with the W212 E63 Estate. Why not the C

Hiya, I was going to get the Matt paint on my edition 63 wagon but decided against it and went platinum black instead. The paint would be impossible to repair if needed in australia and the fact my wife drives the car made the deciding factor.
I've got the same interior though and love it. I think it's as good as the interior in my CL.

If you’re seriously in the market for a C63, it would be a fantastic purchase. It’s something different to the norm and would attract a lot of attention because of it. As far as incurring paint damage, I believe MB would have already factored in the need for matte repairs before release in the market and would have made arrangements to deal with the situation.

After seeing that color I'm wondering how in the hell you didn't leave with it that day?! But I'm a very impulsive buyer...

Hmm, not my cup o tea. Like the matte black better, and with a dark interior. Not sold on gray and beige. To each his own, though. I've owned a Glacier Green BMW 528 Sport that I loved and most everyone else hated!
