Who actually purchased a new C63 for under $55K

2009 C63. Paid 52K. 68XXX MSRP. 10K miles. I just got an offer for 50K.
No one asked you to sugar coat anything. Because you got trunk money in 2009 doesnt make you smart. It makes you lucky. So calling people fools is not called for.

Never mind, have at it. You sure are smarter than the rest of them!
The depreciation is only temporary. Last year the incentives were just as large and a month ago I couldn't get a used one for under $53K. As soon as all of the new cars are gone, the used values will come up and stabilize. Fool? Hmm, I guess I'll consider the source.

Sounds like you must be a really young, immature, disrespectful pri*k or else you wouldn't come here tooting off like that.
Who reallu cares what you know, or what you paid, or how you think you are "warning" other members. People can do thier research and we can all try to help...
What the hell is a "good" deal anyway?????
We all pay what we think it's worth. We do our homework and in the end its all about timing, how bad we want it, and maybe a tad bit of luck. If you got the car below MSRP and maybe a bit over invoice it's all fine and dandy. Life goes on. This forum is to help and educate. It doesn't mean we all end up with the same deal or experience...

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Regardless, it's likely in the future that a 3-4 year old, 25-30k mile C63 will go for $35k-38k. IMHO. Just the way it is for AMGs; and the higher they start, the harder they fall... if history is any indication.

A quick glance to your post history shows you are just a forum troll. Other than stirring the pot in every thread I really see no purpose to you being here. Mod's should take notice and ban you already.
Yeah, we need to take advice on anything from you. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then.
+1
It probably means the same thing as he "Sows what he preaches" Whatever that means too..
In any case I just got 11K off and am absolutely delighted. I would have been happy with 10K, this car is phenomenal.
Remember, one of the main reasons that Mercs in general and AMG's specifically depreciate so fast is because of the Chrysler junk produced from 2000-2006. Mercs rep is still recovering from that. The truth is that new cars like the C 63 and the E series are now very reliable and the market should eventually reflect that fact.
I plan of keeping both of my Mercs for a long time, anyway.
IMHO, C63 depreciation from sticker will likely be roughly the same as historical AMG experiences; might even be greater if they keep offering major new vehicle incentives and if persistent economic/market forces drag on sales. That said, those who have purchased opportunistically (like yourself) will likely mitigate much of the "paper" hit observed in the first couple of years... lessening the psychological sting. It's all academic anyway if you keep 'em and drive the wheels off.

Are you hungry? Here's some "troll food" 8===============D----,
ENJOY!
Like it or not a C63 is a C class car on crack. So your taking an already cheap car and inflating its price by adding performance. MB does this with all its models. Thus the reason AMG depreciates so quickly. Go get yourself into a 2006 195K S65 tomorrow for 60K. Its 1/3 of its value because its an AMG. A 90K S class of the same year sells for about 1/2 its value.
AMG is an enthusiast only vehicle. The regular buyer could care less.
Here's my post.
