yes def. you need to order one for you since you want rather "performance car" than luxury car. i know C63 AMG is performance car but it's also luxury! real performance car does not have leather and MM package and etc. =)
i thought about it. if i don't get 2010 then i'll go your path. there is a funny youtube video (i'd say animation) "I want a M3". if you haven't watched it, google and watch it. so funny. it's how i feel right now. sorry to bring word "M3" in this forum. i used to have M3 so that's why i knew. anyway check out that video. you'll laugh. hope someone can make that with C63 in it. lol

Normally I would say grab the 10K if you can get it, but at this point, as has been mentioned, the cars are nearly a year old so I would be fairly adamant about the 12k...maybe go for 11 K off is the car really spoke to me.

just picked mine up yesterday.2010 silver/black,fully loaded w/ full p30 package, except keyless go and parktronic.sticker was 73.5k.got it for 55k. 50 miles on the clock.

i'm not sure if it was "punched". i heard some people talking about cars being punched,but i'm not familiar with this term.can you please elaborate? thanks

In order to collect the $10k dealer cash, some dealers registered the car as sold with MBUSA before the program expired (in August if I recall) even though the car was not technically purchased. Then the dealer hopefully passes the cash on to the buyer at a later date to help sell the car.
If your "in service" date or "warranty start date" is not the same as your "sold on" date your car was "punched" (registered as sold with MBUSA). The only disadvantage (in my opinion) is that you miss a couple of months on warranty coverage (if they actually passed on the cash to the customer.

there are couple of 2010 C63 in so cal dealers. maybe i need to visit them again w/ your story. if they are willing to sell it, great! if not, oh well. i can wait til next year~! no problem man.if there are any 2010 left in ur area go and grab it.they gotta move those cars.the 2011 deals are not to far away.lol.the funny thing is that i never even gave them a counter offer.i contacted them about the car about 6-7 weeks ago via e-mail.right off the bat they told me they would do it for 58k, but i was on the fence about buying a new car.then we had a few e-mails back and forth for the next few weeks.i was not able to go to the dealer to talk to them, being i was really busy at work for thanksgiving.then on black friday i went to meet the salesman and see the car.we sat down,and he asked me if i remember how much he told me? i replied,no.then he scribbles on his note pad $55.400 and hands me the paper.i told him to have the car ready in one hour.left my clk on their lot and drove off in the beast.

i just talked to a local dealer. she said "MSRP - $8,000" and then she added, “next month, the incentive (she said something ~2.5k for on 2010 C63) will be gone and I can’t even give $8,000 off on 2010 C63”. They don't want to lose any i mean ANY money on the vehicle even tho it's already a year old car. So I had to say no. really. I got an offer from another dealer on 2011 C63. $6,000 off MSRP. only ~$2,000 difference between 2010 and 2011.
Anyway, thanks man. if you hear any deal like yours, just let me know. I don’t mind flying over there and finish the contract and ship it back to CA. I think I did contact NJ MB dealer (cant’ remember the name but i contact basically 20~30 MB dealers in east coast) when I was looking for 2010 leftovers. Oh well~!

Am I the only one that finds this deal that Donzi got a little hard to believe? $18K off MSRP on a car with the best options and (arguably) the most popular color (with NO negotiation or trade in) sounds a little bit too good to be true. The $10K in trunk money has been gone for months, and unless the car was "punched" (which he said it wasn't) the dealer would have had to have a taken a major haircut to sell the car as claimed. I for one am skeptical. It's the deal of the year if true.
