I'm in! and at TMPS question

Just picked up my 2010 C63 in obsidian, Performance package, etc. It was a bit of a hunt, but worth it. Now trying to control myself until break in!

Question: If i get a set of mounted snows from Tire Rack, do I need to get the TMPS sensors or can I disable the warning light on dash?

No, get the tpms sensors(you got a $60K car-$300 shouldn't bust your budget and let the car work as it was designed. Tirerack will equip the wheels with the correct units. There is an antenna in each fenderwell. Just remember NO metal valve stem caps.

Someone stole the valve stem caps from mine and the dealer sold me metal. Wrong?

2010 C63
Metal stem caps are a FAIL with TPMS - they will rust/seize onto the stem and then you are screwed (so to speak).

Use ABS plastic caps only.
