Spark Plug Upgrade

Are there any advantages of changing the spark plugs on a C63?

Is there a higher heat range plug available?

I know that the plugs that come on the C63 are NGK - ILZKAR7A10.

Anyone here changed there plugs?

Thanks for this info, I was wondering what type of plugs we had. Iridiums are the best out there, better be for $12- $14 a plug.

Check this out:

I bought 16 Bosch Platinum Ir Fusion plugs for another car...final cost after $2.00 rebate about $4.50 per plug, delivered. Amazing...

if anything youd want a colder plug, but that would only benifit a highly modified car where you were trying to keep pre detonation from happening. use the stockers

Whatever we're tuning!
For modifications adding up to 75-100 extra hp from stock, you should run a step colder plug. That will take up to 150 degrees out of your combustion chamber.

Denso Iridium are the BEST plugs out there! PERIOD!

I'm pushing 150hp over factory so I'm running step colder plugs from weistec.
