P31 DYNO
Me and my dad (rdl666) went up to Portland's PSI yesterday and got a dyno done. Let me remind you, this is a stock car with only a charcoal filter delete.
419 rwhp and 429 rwtq. Here it is: http://vimeo.com/13383038

Those are pretty solid numbers...
Just recently went with my lady to dyno the C63 and it only put down 417RWHP WITH a powerchip... time for some dyno tuning...

The numbers are not SAE corrected but when I post the data later i'll post with SAE and non-corrected too. The numbers corrected were down to around 408 and 420 if I can remember.

so can someone compare this p31 pkg to the regular non-p31 numbers for me.
And how does this p31 compare to other tunes? Kleeman, etc.
Thanks Blilley 18, I've been waiting to hear numbers for the p31!!
The car I ordered has the p31, so I'd like to know if it is actually a sizable bump over non-p31.
Thanks everyone!

Those are great numbers, congrats
It'd be nice if someone could dyno a P31 and non P31 C63 on the same dyno, same day, and with the same configuration/setup. That would probably give us a better comparison between the two tunes.

Exactly! While those are some good numbers, I don't think I've ever seen higher peak torque than hp on a 63 motor(very few n/a motors period). Comparing dynos pulled from different locations with different conditions wont answer any questions. It would be great if you knew someone with a stock non P31 and do a side by side.

Since there were 3 results for the 3 main pulls that we did, here are the averages for the runs that are corrected for SAE: rwhp: 412.48 rwtq: 419.99
Without corrections but still averaged: rwhp: 418.67 rwtq: 426.29
Here are the max hp's and max tq's: (non-corrected): 437.46, (corrected): 431.42 and here are the hp's: (non-corrected): 425.92, (corrected): 418.98
And I also might try to get up the graph later. I tried to post it but I didn't know that it has to be from online. I will try though.
Hopefully this information will help a lot of people!

And here is the site for the people we went to:http://blog.tunedbypsi.com/blog/. They were very nice and we will likely go back for more dynos later on and because they said that they were tuning another high-powered mercedes soon and they wanted our feedback on it.

I would have thought that a P31 would be around 390 whp with 480 bhp. It's as if you have had a K1 or similar flash, otherwise that's a high reading dynojet..

all dynojets are high reading. i did some tuning at horsepowerfreaks with my first evo and did 325whp on their dynojet. two days later i did 265whp on a mustang dyno. its always better to make good numbers on a mustang, rather than great numbers on a dynojet.

it doesnt matter where you get your numbers just go back to the same place so you see the change. That's the point of a dyno..........
I'll believe it when i see another 3 or 4 p31s on a DJ.

I'm hoping to visit CarbConn in Kirkland, WA tomorrow to baseline my P31 on their dynojet.... I don't have an appointment yet, but just realized I have no commitments tomorrow!
