Pick up new C63 on Monday
I am picking up a 2010 c63 Obsidian Black on monday and trading in my 2009 which I bought in 7/08. Old one has 41,000 miles (in 24 months) but sweet as the day I got it. Not looking forward to breaking in another one, oh well. Nothing like a new car! Got a pretty sweet deal too. The payment is the same, nothing down, and a higher residual. Car has a couple of new features (Keyless Go, improved iPod integration and rear cam). Changed from Steel Gray to Black.
Im pumped.

Thought about it.
I went through the list but for the price range I could not think of anything I even wanted to test drive...RS4, M3, S5, E550 coupe, G37s...Nice but not the same. I need a back seat that can fit my kiddos. Besides, not a lot of cars that make you giggle like a school girl when you floor it.
BTW, my dad had a1974 450SLC that went like stink (248bhp in a tiny car). He used to tell us that the hazard button was the "afterburners." He press it and floor it. This car reminds me of that...

So you got a newer car with extra features, and still paying the same? That sounds awesome!
Congrats.. again, on the second delivery of a C63! Fresh leather smell all over again.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Mercedes C63 amg, Bmw X5,
Okay now seriously why would you buy the same care again? I mean what is the difference? You ll just have to break it in again and then what? I mean I m just curious where did you benefit from it. Does it drive better or something like it or is it just the feeling of having a brand new car again? personally I would never even consider trading my c63 for a brand new one but still the same model... I would fell like am wasting money for nothing... I once bought a brand new X5 and realized in less then 6 months that I threw away 15 - 20 k... anyways thats just me.

First of all, its a business lease. So from a business perspective I have a fixed cost for travel that is staying the same or going down. Granted, I could drive a honda accord and save 500/month. But, driving something I enjoy is a nice perk/benefit of being a business owner.
Second, selling a used car that is way over on miles (41,000 in 24 months) is tough. So, I'll leave that up to the dealer and let them make a little money on it.
Thirdly, this is my opportunity to replace it for another few years with the perfect car. I just cant think of a better one.
Remember, I drive the hell out of this thing. Its not reserved for evenings and weekends.

It's a stiff car, for sure. But not unduly stiff. On a smooth road it rides like a dream and on an imperfect road it rides just how you'd expect it to. No fillings falling out yet. I would not describe it as "harsh" under any circumstances.
