Someone tried to steal my 6.3 amg emblem and look what happened
So I just don't understand why people feel that it is necessary to go around and steal emblems.
Some A-HOLE decided to go and try and steal my driver side 6.3 AMG emblem but obviously couldn't get it off but in trying, the person F-ed up the paint beside the emblem.
Why do people have absolutely no respect for other people's cars?
Any suggestions on how to get it fixed. It's deep and my finger nail catches on it big time.

Time for a quality paint repair. Way too severe to do anything short. Sure would be nice to have caught the *****s. Someone stole all 4 of my valve stem caps the day I took delivery.

Sorry to see that...reminds me of when I had the trunk emblem gouged off an M3. I've tried to paint-fill a few scratches recently on the C63 (not nearly as deep as yours) with middling results, using both the factory touchup paint coupled with the Mother's Langka system as well as the Dr. Colorchip system which is similar in concept. You could try either but the result will almost certainly be a noticeably different color where it is filled. Light metallics generally will show a darker repair line with these methods. That said, you have nothing to lose by trying one first, you may get lucky. BTW the M3 went to the body shop.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I tried the touchup paint and it is just too deep. I'll ask MB and see what they think. My buddy works in their bodyshop.

OUCH, That really sucks. I really hope you find the moron that did this to your car. I suggest taking it to a really good body shop and have them re paint it. Im sure it will turn out just like it came out of the factory.

I don't understand why the hell do people do such things? What are you going to do by stealing the emblem? Stick it on your KIA, and feel good about it? This is so friggin retarded, if I actually see a ***** doing this to anyone's car (let alone my car) I'd report him to the cops and get his (_|_) sacked in jail for hours. I remember 3 years ago I had an Acura RSX and I parked it on the collage campus parking lot and I had a late class so I was walking back to my car and some (_|_) hole kicked my front skirt out I was so pissed off. From that day I started parking my car, VERY far. Or on the corners of a parking line, never in the center. But seriously I think God has given blessings to everyone some get more and some get less, this is what you've been given appreciate it and don't do or wish something on someone that you won't wish on yourself. It's really pathetic.

As others stated, I also don't think they tried to go for the emblem.
Here's my theory: Someone obese tried to sit on (or lean against) the car while having his/her friend take a picture, and the sharp buttons on the rear pockets of the jeans jacked up your paint as they girated up and down. -> $.02

If that happened to me, I'd immediately let the missus take the car out for a grocery run and when she gets back, I'd wash the car and like *magic* I'd suddenly find these deep gouges in the car.
