29$ for Bluetooth streaming audio add in, ie Pandora
I think I got it for a little less than that, but a LOT cheaper than $70 you found.
Sorry if I missed it in the thread: I have a 2008 c63. Does this allow you to control the playlist through the steering wheel and command system??
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Now I'm streaming bluetooth audio.

FYI, the tune2air only provides steering controls for the Apple music library. Pandora and Spotify don't work on the steering wheel, nor does the proper data show up on the screen.

So most of this thread seems to be about:
1. pre face-lift cars where that may not have been possible
2. For folks who want to be able to stream music from their iPhone library and control it via the steering wheel.
Playing Pandora from any phone using the phone to control it should work for at least newer C63s.
Am I correct?

Yes you are. I beleive the Blackberry solution would produce similar results. 2012 was the first year where there was better funtionallity for streaming.
if my 2010 had the ipod integration in the armrest instead of the glovebox i wouldn't need to use bluetooth.....i'm guessing they werent thinking ahead of people using phones instead of ipods

Here's the response: Works like a charm with my iPhone 5s in my 2011 Mercedes C300. My iPhone plays Music, Pandora, Downcast, Stitcher etc without any problems. It pauses the playback when I switch to the car radio or when I turn the car off, and resumes when I switch back or start the engine. It also pauses playback during phone calls. My iPhone 5s switches between the ViseeO Tune2air and the MB Bluetooth without a glitch.
My phone also sends song information during playback, which in the C300 is shown in the odometer display, rather than in the radio and entertainment system display. This is a baffling design choices by Mercedes and not a shortcoming of the ViseeO. Since Mercedes places the iPhone connection cable in the glove box, the ViseeO is actually neatly tucked away during operation.

Well there may just enough difference between the 2010 and 11. Perhaps they've modified it. If not, I know it won't work on 2010 with an iPhone 5S.
I hooked up the new cable to the audio jack on my iPhone 5. First off, it won't work at all unless you disconnect the iPod from the 30 pin connector. I opened Pandora on my phone. Works great after disconnecting the iPod. The sound is excellent. And it pauses when making or receiving phone calls. Only shortcoming is you have to fast fwd with the phone and music info does not show up on the radio's panel.
I probably won't go with a simple Bluetooth because it's not hard to plug the phone into the cable.

"It will work with any year of Mercedes that has the original, factory fitted
iPod interface. It should fully control through the screen and car controls
on your music library but apps are subject to change depending on updates from the developers so we could not guarantee the compatibility with Spotify, Pandora etc. "
So who knows on what vehicle it will or will not work.
Regards,
Joe
