By this logic the 5.5TT AMGs should be 55s not 63s, but that ain't gonna happen..

It's no biggie. Think that Coca-Cola has no coke and no cola whatsoever.

Still funny if you ask me.

And if I remember correctly he had another one about "fuuck me silly"--so I put on a clown suit.

on that point... i believe it just says 6.3 on all the badges, not 6.3"L". SO, it can be interpreted a number of ways. That being said, I understand your point.

MB usually rounds up. The 55 AMGs are actually 5.4s yet I didn't hear anyone complain about that for the past decade. The only damn reason everyone makes a big deal about this is b/c jeremy clarkson pointed it out on the C63 episode of Top Gear lol.

None of the badges are really accurate anymore, even BMW does the same thing with their cars now.

I agree, the new 63s still being called 63s is far more ridiculous than a 6.2L being rounded up. They should be 55TT but MB marketing department is worried by lowering the numbers most customers (who aren't car people) would be bothered by paying more for the lower number.

c'est la vie

German displacement tax laws round up to the nearest 0.1 L.
