From what ive seen it seems MHP delves into the TCU where others dont. Optimized shift points and increase the stall.

I went on their site. Does anyone know if they send you the whole ECU for $2500? Seems like it. If thats the case thats a big plus due to being able to swap it out when going to the dealer.

I think I read that you have to send them your ECU. But I'm not 100%

They do NOT supply you with an ECU. They use to offer extras for around $1000. But I do not know if that is still available or not

MHP does not supply the ecu. your ecu is vin coded to your car. i bought a spare one from the dealership and they vin coded it to the car. then sent that one off to MHP. i got the spare ecu for around $1200. but you don't have to have a spare ecu, you can send off the one that is in your car. the car feels stronger and stronger each time i drive it. the header should be here in about 3 weeks.

well the headers arrived last week. I did the install myself on my friends car lift. I took my time and did the install over the weekend. very straight forward. all that i can say is OMFG the car is a beast now. pulls very hard, and the warning triangle keeps coming on lol now i need drag radials. i don't think that i could have ever prepared for how loud the car is now. watch out for cops. it is crazy though, if i drive easy you would never know that my car had headers. but once i step on it, watch out! MHP rocks, great customer service. Andy and Jim were both a huge help along the install process.

Congrats on your new found power! I can't wait for my MHP headers and tune to arrive. They have proven to me that their combo is the most powerful out there and Andy is very knowledgable about these cars. I will be happy to post dyno results after my install.

I am happy I saw this. I am planning to post my own thread shortly but I want to share my new car's K1 tune before and after dyno results with you guys...and say that I am not sure I feel the great difference everyone talks about.

The dyno does show a difference. Here are the results. Unfortunately we could not get any baseline quarter mile runs in time before tuning. I do wish we could do a comparison with an MHP car or even a stock C63 and really see where the tune stands.

You can't feel 50hp and 35tq?
You just need more then. Headers would be a good mod.

Good job on the before and after.

I'm assuming you'll be at our MIR rental this Friday, the 17th then? Especially, since you're already in Southern Maryland.

That's interesting Kleemann's tune used to not separate rwhp from stock until ~4krpm on. Maybe they adjusted things...
