That article makes no sense. If they did build it, it would have the 5.5 TT motor mated to the MCT. And the performance studio is making another SL Black series ??? I seriously doubt that

Who knows what will happen, I was told last week at a MB dealership that there is a rumor that MB will have a newer version of a 6 liter V8 and the "detuned" version will have 510 hp. I do believe that MB will have some surprises for 2011,2012..

I article stated that the C-series BS might come after the SLS BS not SL.

the 5.5 TT motor thst goes into yhe new cls 63 is surely more expensive that the NA 6.2 L in the C63.

It is therefore logical to keep the NA 6.2 engine in less expensive models and just give it a tune for more hp.

It's not that Mercedes wants to fade the NA 6.2 out, but has to because of stricter government rules opposed on all car manufacturers. Most likely when the C is up for a facelift it gets the new engine. The good news, no more gas guzzler tax!

The SLS Black Series makes sense. However, in this economy bringing out a C coupe Black Series is highly unlikely, as the price for admission would be around the same as the CLK63 BS.

id rather see an amg version of the e550 convertible. saw one of the new ones at the dealer when i took my car in for service. looks pretty sweet especially with the top down.

Porsche is making sedans and trucks and everyone else is making sedans, coupes. Think they are all running out of ideas? The ectacy generation is now fully in control.

The caddy CTS coupe is fugly. The new Porsche sedan is hideous. I hope they can do better with a C coupe.

Whatever MB-AMG can do with the 6.2l in its final hurrah to get me into the dealership is a good thing. Show us what you got AMG! I love the 6.2

Was sitting at lunch the other day in Reston and saw a bright red C350 coupe drive by. My coworker, a car nut like myself, and I were marveling at it yet wondering why the hell Mercedes called it a C-class when it really looked like it should be called a CLK.

Can anyone shed some light on why MB would do this? I apologize in advance if for some reason I missed the notice that MB has discontinued the manufacture of the CLK.

A C63 BS makes sense in it's final year, that's pretty much been the formula for the end run or near end run of the other BS models: SLK55, CLK63, SL65. I bet it's P31 power combined with body, suspension, track upgrades. Should give us something to look forward to!

Still lacking rear fenders. Hopefully AMG will WAKE UP and put some decent rear fenders and tires on these cars!!

I like the old clk63 BS better.

But I'm hoping they do come out with a newer C-63 bs.... perhaps it will continue to deflate the old clk63 BS even more.... then I'll snap up a clean 45K BS (Dreaming).

granted the old CLK 63 BS looks amazing. But if you take a good long look, it actually is begining to look dated IMO with the round headlights and the interior with old school steering wheel.
