Well it's official--I made the deal for my new C63.
It has been a long drawn out affair, but I have a brand new 2011 C63 on the boat coming to me in a few weeks.

After ordering a 2011 back in May from my dealership, I ended up buying a different car from a different dealer that was in production at the same time and has all of the options the one I ordered plus Keyless go.

Basically, I worked with three dealerships to get this deal done on 3 different cars and on Monday I signed the paperwork and pre-traded my CLK500.

I really got a great deal for a brand new from the factory car, just the way I wanted it. Basically, I paid invoice for the new car and got the highest KBB price for my trade--a great deal in my opinion for a car that will be one of the first 2011's to hit the streets.

So here's the option list--I know it's a lot for a C-class, but I don't care, this car will rock

Now I just gotta wait for that boat to get here--it better not sink!!

First mods are minor, but needed: DOOR PINS & ORANGE REFLECTORS.
Future mods will be 19" rims (probably Euro Multi and CF diffuser--probably the Vorsteiner one)

Question: the stock 18: rims looked different on the one 2011 I saw in person. They looked skinnier toward the point of the spoke and the finish looked a little different (lighter grey) from what I've seen on the forums and from my memory of earlier 18" Anyone know what I'm talking about--and the 2011 I saw had Conti's not P-Zeros, who knows what my car will have!

yeah total fiasco--the original dealer I ordered from tried to pork me on the deal--figured they had me over a barrel or something (not this guy)

Then the second dealer brought in a car w/o CF trim and I was ready to buy and noticed the ding--which they never got out I might add!

Finally went to my ace in the hole and bought the one with Keyless Go for the same great deal as the second car, plus the cost of Keyless Go.

So all in all it worked out in the end--I guess the third time is the charm (or something like that)!

 

Congrats you are going to love it.

Your car (P31) will have Contis for the speed rating, at least mine has them.

Wheel hasn't changed - note the old "///AMG" logo - new wheel designs have the updated logo.

If you wanted the 19" wheels, why didn't you order them with the car? In Canada, you can upgrade from the 18 to the 19 for like $700! This is only available on the 2011, which works for you!

 

no I didn't pay MSRP--I was just listing the MSRP, maybe I wasn't clear.
I actually got 7% off MSRP (which puts it right around invoice) and around $19K for my CLK trade which is what KBB lists for my car w/ the options, miles, condition, etc.

I think that's as good as you're going to get for a 2011 right now.

My first dealer only wanted to give me 3.5% off MSRP for an ordered car!!

 

I asked at least a dozen times if we can get these int he US for 2011 and everytime I was told no--I know I would have gladly forked over the $700--s****t I would have made it a cool $1000 and tipped the guy for god's sake!
MBUSA--I just don't get it--leaving money on the table!
