TIRE SUGGESTIONS
Time again for tires, this will make 3rd set of rears and 2nd on front. Read about folks going to Sumitomos HTRZIII and Dunlop Star Spec. I'm hoping they last a little longer, but can anyone comment of grip (hook up and turn in). Thanks.

PS2's get my ultimate vote but they are too expensive for me to care to replace every 5000 miles.
I've got Nitto Invo's now, coming from Nitto NT05's and I have to say I would highly recommend either. Very nice ride, very quiet and great grip in the dry.
The NT05 could honestly be worthless in the wet though.
Just my two pennies.

Just replaced my Conti Sports with Vredenstein Ultras. After 200 miles the grip has improved notably, turn-in more or less identical. All in all the Vred's are amazing at this price point.

The stock Continental ContiSport P5's were not the best. Good at first, now average.
I have got Bridgestone Adrenalin RE-001's 265/35/18 on now. Really happy so far (2000km in). Will see how they last, but they seem like they'll get good life.
Next, I am going to try a set of semi slicks. I've always been happy with RE-55S's on my previous car (Evo IX), so I'll give them a whirl over summer. Obviously they'll grip awesome, so it'll be more about wear with them than anything.

I recently decided to go with the Pilot Sport A/S and am really liking them after 1500 miles.....with a 45K mile warranty, sflgator recently had his rears replaced after 11K miles for under $240. Just something to consider.
