I bought mine from Dana Middleton at Calstar MB in Glendale. This is her contact:
> Dana Middleton
> Calstar Motors Mercedes Benz
> (818) 246-1800
> (323) 215-8967 cell
> . She's really great to deal with, not pushy at all.

2010 C63 AMG (Iridium Silver)
Bought mine last sunday at South Bay MB too.
The persons I've worked with were Al and Ismail. As of last sunday, they still had couples of C63s in stock (two blacks, one silver, and a white) with 15k discount. Tell them Seung refered you. They are straight forward to work with.
Good luck!

My experience wasn't as good. Parents were treated poorly so they went with House of Imports. When I went there no one approached me and when I asked about test driving they weren't too happy about it. In the end I followed my parents foot steps and went with House of Imports.
They had just brought in a new sales manager from Toyota (South Bay is AutoNation owned now) and he was horrible. He made it miserable but I bought anyway because of the big trunk money (that I had to really fight for) and the heavily discounted MSRP that was going on last summer. I will never go back there, it was truly frustrating. Although I heard they transferred the ex-Toyota guy.

Best socal dealer I've dealt with has to be MB Laguna Niguel. They were pretty mod friendly too. Fletcher Jones in Newport is pretty good, but they have their mix of bad SA. They're the only ones I would even consider letting touch the paint on my car though as their detailers are all Meg's certified and use two bucket method.

SOUTH BAY MERCEDES customers:
Surprised some of you had such a bad experience. When we bought our vehicle with the '09 trunk money, Sung picked my wife and I up from the airport. They gave us the full trunk money discount and even paid for the airline tickets from Vegas. When they brought the vehicle around for delivery, sitting in the passenger seat was a Mercedes teddy bear with a pink sweater for the wife. It was a class act the way they treated out-of-town buyers.

I will say that the service people seem decent. I had to go back because they forgot to do a few things, and the SA (a woman) was quite nice.
Also my sales guy was decent, too. An African American named Aaron (I think.) But he kept asking me to be sure to fill out MBUSA's customer form and give him a high ranking. The service woman also asked me to do the same, so maybe MBUSA has been watching them(?)
The sales manager guy (he might have been an assistant) was terrible. The problem is that they wanted me to finance since it meant an extra $7k back to them. Part of the deal I got was them thinking they'd also get the $7k because they just assumed I'd finance (it was a very low rate then.) But I never said I was going to and instead started writing a check. That's when all hell broke loose and they realized they weren't getting what they had hoped. They pulled all sorts of stunts to back out. It was a nightmare. Maybe it's just their game, or maybe the ex-Toyota guy screwed up and was trying to cover himself, who knows.

House of Imports. Sam Hwang. My family has been a customer for over 15 years and he'll treat you as he did with my C63 purchase. He got my mine for 52k. Tell him Max referred you.

Yeah, I remember you posting your experience last year, I think. I know that there were lots of complaints after Auto Nation took over, and there still have been complaints on various internet sites. Maybe MBUSA has pressured them.

I think Fletcher Jones in Newport is pretty good. They have two 2010's left, a red and a black. If you are interested, call their VIP sales guy:
Thomas Carnevale. He handles all VIP referrals and is the utmost professional. His direct # is 949-718-3020.
