i am looking at 2 C63's. one is a new 2010 (with nav) with $15k off the msrp, the other is a CPO 2009 (without nav). just wanted to hear peoples' opinions as to which they think is the better overall deal and which they'd prefer.

Its no brainer i would go for the 2010. The 2010 will cost u 54K and the 09 50K.
Its better to get a brand new CAR so u break it in etc....

yeah, +1 about new cars. i was also asking what opinions would be taking the options differences into account ... i generally like the 09 better (color, aluminum trim, etc, but no nav ... but i heard the nav isnt that great anyways), but it IS a secondhand car, whereas the 2010 of course is box fresh.

actually, i like the black wood trim better. i misread it ... thought it was brown wood trim. well, you're the only one to post your opinion on this so far, but i think i am leaning towards to 2010 now. thanks for the nudge.

New, without a doubt. NAV with DVD capability, iPod info in center LCD COMAND, keyless go, NEW. The guy who owned the 09 has already used up the car's best miles, too!

Very true, and that 2009 CPO is actually slightly over priced, and I don't think anyone has gotten 15k off on a 2010 C63 yet!

The bottom line is that is only 2k difference for a better new MY2010 vs the used MY2009. So if you can afford it, go for the new one.

I agree that black maple looks best. The aluminum looks cheezy (IMHO)and I wonder whether you would get annoying sun reflection from it especially from the aluminum surrounding the speedo/tach pod.

fleetrates.com had some big savings on new 2010 C63's. I saw one msrp of $67,000 and I could have purhcased or leased it for $58,000. It had all of the options except for the performance package. Color was black.

Im 100% sure that's from South bay Benz. I was there 2 weeks ago to look at the '09 CPO, turned off by the lack of nav, then the saleslady (ronelle) mentioned that he can get me into a brand new '10 C63 for $55k. No brainer. Everything was going well during the negotiation of the trade until the damn finance manager decides to come out and act like an a-hole. Long story short, I had to force them to hand the keys/registration back.

I emailed the sales manager & called him and left a message to make sure he receives the email, guess what? No call back or response. They're all a bunch of classless sales people. Go to the other dealership, House of Imports in Buena park will honor the $15k discount.
