heat gun and dental floss . warm up the adhesive and run the dental floss between the trunk and the wing . that's the easy part . then you have to remove the excess adhesive off the trunk..........

that's when the fun begins

I second rubbing with fingers. That goo stuff works OK, but the fingers are good.

Only problem is you wear out your fingers. Then when you're two thumbs and a few fingers in, you need to stop and let your skin grow again for a few days lol

Aren't the Goo and Goof products pretty caustic? I remember I tried to remove a sticker from an NFL signed helmet once and the plastic got burned, in a sense. Lost its lustre. I'd try a hidden area first and see what you get. You don't want to repaint the hood.

they are fine, i think it is even better, but remember to wear a heavy duty gloves, i used 30lbs lines and with those heavy duty gloves, my hands still hurts for two days.

use boiled water pull on top of the gap between trunk and spoiler first, then use the lines, come off easy, but also becareful of the paint, try to avoid scraching the trunk.

then, if the factory double side tape is still hard to clean, use boil water once again, and finger it off.

I know this is an old post but I found this thread useful and I found the eraser wheel here for $15 so I figured I'd share it with you:

Thanks mangoango for the suggestion

You forgot to mention, that you also rubbed your finger print off
Try 3M adhesive remover, it's good for this type of thing, and also for tree sap, etc.
Make sure that you use stong dental floss, as you don't want to snap the line.

+1 for 3m adhesive remover

Also used gloves with fishing line. Floss snaps too easy.

I used the dental (thick + quadruple "twined" it... Is that a word?) use gloves. Saturated the areas by segment with Goo Gone while warming with a heat gun. The residual tape does require extra work and goo gone. My paint is Article white and wasn't damaged by the Goo gone. Thoroughly cleaned the area with alcohol and cotton ***** before installing the new spoiler. The entire removal process took a good 3 hours. 1 to remove the OEM spoiler and 2 hours to clean up the residual. Takes patience. Don't hurry. Good luck.

Easy!
1, find a body shop
2, pay one hour labor
3, congratulation, it's gone!
