Somebody in a Mars Red C63 is going to join in.

The weather also looks like it's going to be fantastic w/ a high of 68-degrees and sunny!

I'm headed down the night before. A few others mentioned cruising down together the morning of. Be sure to be there by 10:00am!

CONFIRMED PARTICIPANT LIST

1. Even Money, 2009 C63 (Stock Tune)
2. superlubricity, 2010 C63 (Kleemann K2 Tune, MHP Catless Headers, Evosport Pulley)
3. nrgy, 2008 C63 (MHP V3 Tune, MHP Catless Headers, Carbonio Airbox)
4. cek, 2010 C63 P31 (Stock P31 Tune)
5. B.E.R.U.A.N.G, 2008 C63 (Eurocharged Tune)
6.
avengerboater, 2010 C63 (Kleemann K2 Tune, MHP Catless Headers)
7. impulsoren, 2006 M5

UNCONFIRMED BUT "INTERESTED" LIST

8. rdl666, 2010 C63 P31 (Stock P31 Tune) <--- Likely out due to a scheduling conflict
9. MoMorg, 2009 G8 GT <---- Has not confirmed
10. 99Blkcobravert, 1999 Cobra (2003 Cobra Motor) <---- Has not confirmed

----------------

I'm going to be paying the difference out of my own pocket to keep the cost @ $165/car for all the other cars in the event we don't reach 10-cars. If we can get a few more cars involved the per car price starts to come down and everyone benefits. Call your friends fellas, all are welcome.

I'll also find out on Friday what other local cars Gene was able to get. Either way this is going to be awesome. Expect a ton of photos and video!

I'm really shocked not to see any BMW 3-series cars. The 335i and M3s can be quick as hell when modded. You'd think they'd want to join in.

B.E.R.U.A.N.G is trying to get his buddy with an M6 to join.

Gene at Woodburn has a few cars that might join too . . . one if which is in the 9's.

I'll be sending an email tonight to the confirmed list. This is going to be awesome.

It was a freaking blast. Thank you to all that came out today. Collectively we made over 150 runs. Pretty impressive.

Below are the best two runs, sorted by ET and MPH for each participant. These are all uncorrected. DA (according to Dragtimes) ranged from 500-700ft today; based on the heat/humidity at the track today I'd say that is a bit understated.

On to the results.

By ET:

Superlubricity - Kleemann K2 Tune, MHP Catless Headers, evosport pulley, Nitto Drag Radials
1.796 60', 11.744 @ 119.18 MPH (1/8th 7.595 @ 94.59 MPH)
1.782 60', 11.753 @ 119.17 MPH (1/8th 7.600 @ 94.50 MPH)

B.E.R.U.A.N.G - Eurocharged Tune, Street Tires
2.044 60', 12.364 @ 115.45 MPH (1/8th 8.079 @ 91.42 MPH)
2.092 60', 12.456 @ 115.57 MPH (1/8th 8.177 @ 91.43 MPH)

Avengerboater - Kleemann K2 Tune, MHP Catless Headers, Street Tires
2.209 60', 12.524 @ 117.81 MPH (1/8th 8.318 @ 92.84 MPH)
2.281 60', 12.554 @ 119.17 MPH (1/8th 8.396 @ 93.81 MPH)

Nrgy - MHP Tune, MHP Catted Headers, Carbonio Airbox, Street Tires
2.238 60', 12.547 @ 117.58 MPH (1/8th 8.323 @ 92.26 MPH)
2.477 60', 12.990 @ 119.04 MPH (1/8th 8.761 @ 91.89 MPH)

Even Money - Stock Tune, Nitto Drag Radials
1.916 60', 12.557 @ 111.37 MPH (1/8th 8.127 @ 88.33 MPH)
2.063 60', 12.710 @ 111.77 MPH (1/8th 8.293 @ 88.47 MPH)

Congratulations to everyone on some good runs. Wayne good to see that the headers without a tune gained so much. Around .3 and 4mph. Also about a .1 on the 60'. Wish this would have worked out for me to come. Sounds like a blast.

Wow this is really saying a lot for the Eurocharged tune..... beat the kleeman tune WITH the MHP headers

I had a hoot today guys!

Super: thanks a TON for setting this up. Paypal (with some extra thrown in) is "in the mail".

Drag radials v. street tires make ALL the difference. I am confident I would have had very low 12s if I had drag radials. I never did get a really good launch.

Oh, and the GREAT thing about a private strip rental like this? I think I had at LEAST 30 runs. I'll have to add up all the timeslips I have :-).

Some photos below. Videos to come...

Thanks. I made five 11.7 runs @ ~119.

1.796 60', 11.744 @ 119.18 MPH (1/8th 7.595 @ 94.59 MPH)
1.782 60', 11.753 @ 119.17 MPH (1/8th 7.600 @ 94.50 MPH)
1.769 60', 11.754 @ 118.87 MPH (1/8th 7.595 @ 94.40 MPH)
1.788 60', 11.760 @ 119.12 MPH (1/8th 7.605 @ 94.41 MPH)
1.783 60', 11.761 @ 119.00 MPH (1/8th 7.607 @ 94.46 MPH)

I was actually amazed at how well this car hot-lapped. I know there was more in there if I would have let it cool for a good hour. Both avenger and nrgy have the power to join me in the elevens. They just need some DRs.

Thanks. I'm going to dyno this combo in the winter when it's 20-degrees cooler and then test out the MHP header tune (designed for these headers) at the track/dyno.

Whoa there. That is a horrible assumption. You can't look at the ETs alone ignoring all the other data. I edited my post above to include a MPH-sort. A much better indicator of Horsepower.

Anyhow, B.E.R.U.A.N.G's car was neck in neck with the P31 stock car all day long. They actually tied ET and MPH (low 114's) twice when they ran heads-up. I've got all 150+ runs in front of me. It wasn't until I layed down about 2/3 of my Nitto tread on a well prepped lane when he made an incredible pass as he finally got some traction on those street tires.

All that VHT . . . gone in a matter of seconds.

He's going to be famous for that one.

We should really make a new post for all these photos and videos. I've got a ton I need to process.
