Well, she's home at last!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Wanting the C63 since it came out and I placed my order back in May and finally picked her up today!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Test drove these cars on many occasions, but I put 120 miles it today alone.
First impressions are![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Its about time your baby arrived.. Very nice.
I tinted my widows right off the bat at the dealership. not only keeps the interior cooler, but IMHO really enhances the overall look of the car.

thanks a lot guys!
gsrjc--long story but I ended up getting the car for invoice and a healthy trade on my CLK500--but that was after three dealerships and much haggling. Originally the dealer only wanted to give me 3.5% off MSRP, I got about 7% off.
The Conti's are what they are and will be replaced in no time I'm sure!!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
And the gas guage is already at 1/2 and I've had the car less than 24 hrs--hahaha--I smile at the Prius owners![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
RAKLAW--thanks again for the boat tracking info from the PL--I don't know if it made the last couple weeks better or worse
From the day it landed at port to my garage took only 1 week--that was fast through customs, etc. Thanks again!!
So far my first impressions have been better than I thought (and I had high hopes)
The sound just doesn't get old at all![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
I've been babying it for the most part, but I have gone over the 4500RPM a few times by accident![Wootrock](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wootrock.gif)
This car makes me feel like a hooligan and I just love everything about it--yes I could do with more leather and less plastic inside, but really??
I love the Alcantara steering wheel and originally I was not too excited about it, but wow it feels so good, although I will invest in some driving gloves to help prolong the life.
The handling feels really good to me and dare I say BMW/Porsche-esk.
The overall drive is all good IMO and I've driven a lot of cars and consider myself a picky person about the total package--I feel this car has it all![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I know I'm still under the "new car spell" but I can't imagine having too many complaints about it.
I feel that the car handles bumps fine and have no complaints at all and I live in pothole riddled New England! I don't get the complaints about the suspension--I know some of the P30s had the different suspension, but I feel no issues at all.
The Carbon Fiber Trim is a luxury, but since I have the P31 w/ the CF trunk spoiler, I feel the CF Trim inside is a must and it ties the car together nicely--I think it helps elevate the interior and I'm "happy" I dished out the $2500 for it.
As I thought before, the orange reflectors and the silly door pins must go--especially the door pins, they poke my arm when I have it out the window and they just look terrible IMO.
But this car is just intoxicating, I actually came home for lunch today, just so I could take it out for a spin (it's my garge queen so it doesn't go to work).
That's it for now--I gotta learn the tech stuff and setup the garage door BS and then I have to just put more miles on it to get past the 1000 mile mark, then all hell will break loose!!![action](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/action1.gif)

Yeah, I don't really care about the car, but that tractor is sweet. I always wanted one as a kid. Now I just pay a gardener to cut the lawn.
Just curious though, are are the 2011's coming with Continentals standard?

haha--yeah the tractor is for my whopping 1/2 acre yard--it takes me about 45 minutes to mow from start to finish and that includes the time for tossing down a few nice beers (it has three cup holders, go figure)
I do enjoy doing my own gardening and have quite the selection of other toys for such!
the floor is RaceDeck and is AWESOME took me about 3 hrs to put down, kinda like big Legos--expensive but worth it IMO.
The garage is still a work in progress, but thanks for the comments.
I figure a nice car needs a nice place to sleep
