Pics of my new 2011 C63 P31

Hi Guys,
Here's a small sampling of the pics I took today after cleaning my car and "fixing" the dealers work.
She'll be a week old tomorrow (I've followed this car every step from the day it was produced, sailing across the Atlanitc and finally into my garage).

I used a cocktail from my trusty detailers cabinet--some of the products I used included, Dodo juice Supernatural shampoo (A+), P21S rim cleaner (the only choice IMO), Menzurna Final Polish II, Menzurna FMJ, and Zaino Grande Finale Spray (not to mention a whole host of other towels, mitts, gloves, applicators, buckets, etc., etc.--you get the picture I'm mildly obsessed with detailing!!
I will be using my orbital buffer and doing a true detail come late fall before my "queen" sleeps for the winter!
I'm sooo stoked over this car
I especially love the P31 and CF Trim--the Keyless-Go is still a slightly annoying gadget IMO, but I guess the start button's kinda cool

Enjoy the pics:

Nice.. The Black 040 Paint is a lot of work, but looks unreal when maintained.

yes I know, but all the work is worth it when you roll down the street and see it glimmering in the shop windows!

Congrats on the C63. From my experience you will not be disappointed and will love it. The car looks amazing, great job detailing. Now go drive it and muss its hair a little because that's the point.

The keyless-go is OK but I find I have the key in my hand half the time until I remember I won't be using it. Sometimes I have to move my body around, depending on which pocket my key is in to get it to work. The range is very short and the signal seems to be easily blocked. Overall I say that I like it the more I get used to it.

Enjoy!

Beautiful car. Sounds like we picked up our cars around the same time. This first week with them have no doubt been joyful times for both of us. I also have a black exterior, and despite being detailed the day I picked her up a week ago, it is already full of dust. I park it outside at home and drive it to work on the weekdays with covered parking. Oh well, what can I say, black looks better than any other color when clean.

I can't get over those red calipers... I think the regular silver caliper look is much better on the C63 IMO

honestly, I feel like they look better in person, but they are defintely an "in your face" kinda look and not everyone's cup of tea.
I like the silver ones too, but I'm happy with my big reds

Red Calipers look great. I think Yellow Calipers would also look awesome. Nothing wrong with showing a little flash as balanced by the classy black out. Great looking car!

What kind of grass is that? It looks really good and soft, btw great car. I appreciate a nice detail job and the reflection looks 100% optically correct.
