2012 C63 and some other stuff
Last September I got an 09 E63 for $30K off . . . the 10's were almost out and it was a great deal but the car was too big for me and I did not like it. At the time you could not get an 09 at auction for the same price . . . crazy

The number on the 09 is $48K . . .emericr called it in post #14. A good deal for you and I would have done it and did do a similar deal but if you showed up with cash in hand and no trade it would have been a different number . . . .

Congrats on the 2010 you got a nice deal. I have owned a lot of MB's and others and this car is special. I like it more than the 09 E63 or the 07 CLS63 I had because it feels more raw and connected . . but that is just my take and below is Manheim's take on the 09. Note the average cond 09 with 19k miles that brought $48K last week.

REPORTED WHOLESALE AUCTION SALES - With Exact Matches Type Odometer Price Sale date Auction Engine T

4D SEDAN C63 AMG 7,292 $50,000 08/12/10 RIVRSIDE Abv ARC WHT

4D SEDAN C63 AMG 22,887 $46,000 08/25/10 W PALM Blw STL GRY

Enjoy the car . . . .I got P2, keyless and the diff . . .Black on Black

Price only matters to the buyer (and the seller!)

Black on black, P2, Multimedia, AMG Leather, Keyless Go. After seeing all the amazing deals happening on the remaining 2010's, I had to go out and see if I could get one myself. Much to my surprise, it worked out perfectly last night. Dealer wanted to unload their car really bad, and I showed up toward closing time to take it off their hands.

Thanks guys for all of the useful information contained in this forum...couldn't have done this without it.
I know you bought it as MB of South Bay! I got mine 2 weeks ago $16K off MSRP. I thought I got a great deal, but you did even better!! Congrats!!

Congrats! I was assuming you bought the car from MB of south bay. I also got mine there a month ago with 15.5k off MSRP.
The black one you picked was sitting there for a while and dealer wanted to get rid of 2010s so bad, so to me 20k off deal doesn't sound really impossible. Nevertheless good deal and enjoy your ride.

I got mine there too. Thanks to this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-2010-c63.html
I almost bought a C350. If your car had the P31 package, I was a day late buying it. Maybe I should have waited another 2 weeks and got $20K off instead of $16K, but if I snooze, I might loose...

I can assure you that there is no way you would have walked with that car at that price without the trade.
Nonetheless great deal and enjoy the new car smell
Ditto. The extra money HAD to come from somewhere. But GREAT deal none the less. Congrats.

Yes, there are great deals to be had right now if you can find a 2010 you like.

You wont get 20K off MSRP though. A used 2009 C63 will sell on a dealers lot for 50K. There is no way they will under cut their used car.

He wont scan the bill of sale so something is up.

nothing is weird about this sale. they only gave him $43k for his trade which they can sell for $48k. So really, he ended up with about $15k off MSRP which we all know is possible at this time.

He stated it was 20K off even without his trade.

Also his trade was only 63K MSRP new. No leather, No P2. Fetching 48K might be tough since they are selling new 2010's with full packages for 49K.

The deal smells of something... In the end who really cares. If you gotta lie to make others jealous of a ficticious deal more power to ya. If he indeed got 20K off even better.

For others reading this thread who want a 2010. Dont get angry when a dealer laughs in your face when you march in and say "Some guy on a car forum said I could get a 2010 C63 for 20K off MSRP"

sounds like you're pretty bitter you didn't get the same just.

Just cause you paid more doesn't mean someone else did.

Asking him to scan the bill of sale is just ridiculous.

Let's not hate, congratulate.

People are able to get deals and steals, it is what it is. Like OliverK said, you can't hate the man because he was able to do better. Enjoy your deals, cars, and life.

BTW- I also agree, there is no way in the hell I would take the time to scan an invoice on the internets.

No it isnt. Propain is correct in that this guy did not get the killer deal he thinks. They gave him 43k for his car. The lowest car sold at Manhiem was 46 and we do not know the options of it. So assume he could get 46 for his car, which the dealer would then either CPO and resell or wholesale it. There is 3 grand that the dealer used to tell him he got 20k off sticker when really he only got 17k.

Again, I think the MB-Tex interior really killed my trade value. That interior is very rare on these cars, so I would suspect with very high confidence that none of the Manheim cars sold at those prices had MB-Tex. Every dealer I went to reacted the same when they saw my trade, "Very clean car, but no leather!?!?" So had my car had the AMG leather package, I have no doubt the trade value offered would have been much closer to the recent Manheim figures posted.

But however you want to look at it, low trade value and amazing discount, or higher trade value and great discount, I think it rolls up to a smokin' deal. At least one that I myself couldn't resist.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Like I said..

Bill of sale and make me look like a fool and ill apologize. Otherwise... The BS flag flies.

To the other quoting 09 deals.... This isnt 09. 10K in trunk money hasnt even been released yet to the dealers.... If you managed to get 20K its because of the trade or some other reason the dealer isnt telling you the truth about.

How about a VIN number? That will do the trick...

Suddenly, I don't feel so good about the 10k off I got last week. Mine was not punched.

I hate to break it to those of you with jealous tendencies, but he seems to be telling the truth. I contacted the SoCal dealer with the other "punched" 2010 that he referred to in his post. They responded with an email offering to sell a black 2010 with p2, leather, and carbon for approximately 51.5k even though the msrp was 67605 (approximately). That was their OPENING offer. No trade was involved. I passed because I want the multimedia pack, but I think that should be enough for all of us to start thanking him for pointing out the deals instead of ripping him as a lair. PS-will someone jump on that 2010 so I can stop beating myself up for passing?

Congrats on your great deal... I wish we had those deals in Canada! But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much discount we all got, as long as we enjoy the car... the cost won't matter in few years from now.

+1 Whats in a price? You pay for what YOU think it's worth. It's all that matters, what you get out of it. Enjoy at whatever price you got it at. Life is short. Just enjoy your C63 and count your blessings.

Your 1 post on this forum clears it all up for me.

Give me the number of the SoCal dealer so I can hear this deal and get the VIN on this car and the one they sold him.

By the way, its nothing to do with jeaousy. I couldnt care less if you got 20K off the car. I just dont believe you got 20K off the car without a catch. Why not help prove that its true instead? I can show you many to good to be true deals in NY. I just want to know its true.

When I traded my 09 they gave me 49500. Thats about 1500 more than what is normal. But they only went down to 54K on the sale. They could have said.. 48K for your car and 52500 for the car. Same thing... One way or another they make their number. 20K off without a trade is BS for sure. But im waiting on that number so I can call and see for myself... Hell.. at this point im waiting for anything to prove this story is true... VIN, BOS even a PIC of the car would be nice. LOL
