Got my new 2010...$20,000 off sticker!!!
Yep, couldn't be happier with the deal I got on one of the last remaining 2010 C63's. MSRP $69,185, selling price $49,185+TTL.
Black on black, P2, Multimedia, AMG Leather, Keyless Go. After seeing all the amazing deals happening on the remaining 2010's, I had to go out and see if I could get one myself. Much to my surprise, it worked out perfectly last night. Dealer wanted to unload their car really bad, and I showed up toward closing time to take it off their hands.
Thanks guys for all of the useful information contained in this forum...couldn't have done this without it.

Wow, great price on that. I payed less for my 2008 Black/Black CPO with similar options + 19 inch multispoke Euro Rims with 23,000 miles, but not much less! That's a fabulous deal on a truly wonderful "new" car. I've had mine for a week + already and have had a lot of fun getting acquainted with the car. Since I've purchased the C63, for the first time in 2 years, I've been neglecting my Ferrari! That takes " a lot of car" to be able to do that. They are very different cars, both a lot of fun in very different ways! Enjoy your new C63!

It was a "punched" car making it qualify for an extra $10K incentive from Mercedes. Being punched, it's warranty started one month early in August. $10K for one month of warranty...seems like a more than fair deal to me. Car only had 79 miles on the odometer when they pulled it out of showroom.

Gotta be a catch, the punch wouldn't get it that low.

$43K for my trade (09 Iridium Silver C63) since it was a stripped car with only Multimedia package. They really gave me a hard time over MB-Tex interior, and no P2 package on my car. Yes, I probably could have got a bit more had I sold privately, but felt the $20K discount on the new car more than made up for it.

Well, there you have it. There was a trade involved. According to KBB, the dealer should give you at least $49K (good condition) and up to $51K (excellent). So in essence, you got about $12K of MSRP which is still a steal.
Pics would be nice I wonder why you would upgrade to a 2010.

Exactly. And from all my car buying experience, very rarely will a dealer EVER give you KBB good condition trade value, especially with such hefty incentives being offered on the new cars. I thought of the deal this way: My 09 stickered for $63K, the 10 stickered for $69K. So when I traded my car for $43K and got their car for $49K, I essentially paid $6K to upgrade (before tax & license). But since this car had $6K worth of options my trade car didn't, my cost of upgrade matched the cost of the additional upgrades I was getting. Nowhere was I really being charged for the fact that I now had a 1 year newer brand new car, with only 79 miles on the clock. Makes plenty of sense to me.

I am not saying it did not make sense to do the upgrade. It looks like you basically paid for the upgrade of the vehicle and got a new car with a warranty. Way to go.
However the logic of the dealer not giving you KBB does not drive.
I can assure you that there is no way you would have walked with that car at that price without the trade.
Nonetheless great deal and enjoy the new car smell

In my experience, KBB values for all types (private-party sale, trade-in, and retail), are usually at the very high end of the realistic spectrum. For example, KBB suggests that a basic, low-optioned 2009 C63, in excellent condition and with 12,000 miles, could be sold retail by a dealer for ~$57,000. Doubtful, IMO, since people are securing brand new 2010s for under (sometimes substantially under) $55k.
In this economy, I find edmunds is probably closer to true value - and their site claims a low-optioned, silver 2009 with average mileage is worth about $40k to trade-in.
Given the range between edmunds and KBB trade-in values, and the stripped nature of the car traded in, I'd say the trade-in value agreed upon of $42k wasn't off by much, if anything. If anyone really wanted to verify, you could call a dealer or three and find out what an '09 is worth to trade-in, independent of whatever you'd be looking to get into.

And if anyone is interested, I do know another dealer in So Cal with one remaining new "punched" 2010 C63 that was also willing to do a similar discount at $19,000 from sticker, trade or no trade. To save time responding to everyone asking me where, I'll give the hint that it's MSRP is $67,605.

Scan the bill of sale and make me look stupid please, beause even with your trade at 43K from a 63K MSRP your not getting into a 2010 69K MSRP for 49K unless there is something missing like a 6K down payment.
If you had more than 11 posts before this claim I would be more inclined to believe this story, Also the last time you claimed you got the 09 for 48K someone called BS and said to scan the bill of sale and you didnt.
Just put it to rest and post the bill of sale and ill apologies and congratulate you on an amazing deal that no one in the country can get right now.
I recently traded out of my 09 as well and paid 54K for a 68K MSRP and got 49500 for my trade from a 68K MSRP. Sorry, your numbers just dont jive.

For what it's worth, I can assure you there is ABSOLUTELY NO BS going on here. Car was advertised on window already for $15K discount. I simply asked for $5K more and they gave it to me toward the end of the last day of Labor Day weekend.
