It will be fun. I was privileged to have attended last years event at the Great Park. I learned that it was good to be in the first group for the weekend as you get fresh tires and instructors. That is why I'm doing the 1st at noon.
Be prepared for a single lap in each car. You won't have time to familiarize yourself with the car or the track. The instructors are not going to offer too much info, most of the time. As the crowds grew, the officials limited the number of laps. I had done 4 laps before they caught on. Everyone else was limited to 2 (which was stupid because there were 3 AMG's to test).
Of course, by far, my favorite was the C63.

I'm in, signed up for Oct 1 at 4:00. Can't wait to drive a C63 as I hope to see one of those showing up in my garage in the future. I'm thinking that would be a really good retirement present for me.
Too bad no Black Series offered but that's ok.

But from what i remember you do get to drive them pretty hard as long as you stay within the cones. Not sure if it's still the same or not. But either way it'll still be fun!

. I think I'll go for the C63 and SL63. I want to see the difference between the auto and MCT transmissions.
