I hope I can get into the 11's after my MBH headers are installed! Of course, I'll be running on my street tires (no DRs) so I'll be lucky if I can manage a 60' time of less than 2.0sec.

Not sure if it would make a diff. Your times are a better than mine and I only have the mhp tune.

I wonder if your times would be better with the mhp tune for headers????
Let's try not to compare track data from clear across the county under completely different environmental conditions. You had some great NC weather in February; it certainly wasn't 80% humidity, 70-degrees like it was yesterday @ Woodburn. Come out to the PNW, it will humble you quickly.

Anyhow, I'll be personally testing the Kleemann K2 Tune vs. the MHP V3 Tune on the dyno and at the track this winter. I'll share all the data.

BTW, there is a typo in your signature.

10/01/10 (Woodburn Dragstrip, OR) - w/ MHP long-tube Headers, Catless Mid-pipes
1.796 60', 11.744 @ 119.18 MPH (1/8 Mile 7.595 @ 94.59 MPH)
1.782 60', 11.753 @ 119.17 MPH (1/8 Mile 7.600 @ 94.50 MPH)

1.844 60', 12.078 @ 115.56 MPH (1/8 Mile 7.810 @ 91.76 MPH)
Thnaks for the info. Basically the headers are adding a steady and solid 4mph gains with the addition of the software upgrade for the headers.

from the info on this site headers only seem to net a 4 to 6mph improvement over stock exhaust. This seems to be consistent across the board. Most cars that have ran over 122mph have filters or additional mods. I assume with filters pulley thermostat airbox intake gaskets done people are getting close to 125mph (example dads c63 i think he may have even ran 125mph)

congrats on the new found power

how has the "silencing solution" worked out for you super? I knew my car would be loud with MHP longtubes and race catback but i have to admit now... it is RIDICULOUS LOUD!!

take a look:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTWI0P-aEAA

thinkin of using it during track days only and a silencing solution for everyday use...

Still testing but so far I'm very happy. I'll have more info the next week or so.

Stay tuned.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!! Those MHP long tubes build more torque and power than any other on the market and thats what gets us heavy pigs moving!! Great numbers!!

Wait until you get the matching tune.
Are you going to be at MIR this Friday??

No, that's wide-open w/o any cats.

The "silencers" I'm testing work great but I still haven't perfected the easy in/out. I need to try one more thing and then I'll be posting more info.

Thanks, Keith. I'm looking forward to the new tune and getting kicked off the track. I have no doubt.

No MIR for me. That would be quite a hike from Washington State. Wish I could considering all of our tracks are closed for the Winter.

MHP V3...I'd like to get the cams, possibly the heads as well. Whatever hp increase and weight reduction it takes to break 11 n/a. I guess I'll have to get the rollbar as well. That's the goal anyway..now I just have to find the $$$..

Which of course is offset by the Carbon Fiber Hood and Trunk I ordered.

Awesome, EM. You'll easily dip into the 11s with the headers/tune. If you do go heads/cams/rollbar you'll be gunning for Dad's N/A record.

. . . and quickest!

I just wish our tracks would be open in the Winter. I know this car has an 11.5 in it as-is. Sucks that it will be parked in the garage.

Even Money - if you get all that work done you should be knocking on the 10 door N/A in good DA!!

Superlubricity - I am sure you are close to 11.5's in good DA!!! You'll get there with a tune for sure!!
