Wayne your car is becoming insane (in a good way!!!) I heard NRGY's when he took me for a ride in his car and I agree that Bark is something to be heard. I think my neighbors would shoot me if I did something that loud. Tossing around the idea of the K2 package, knowing it doesnt make the power that the Long Tubes do but might be a good compromise I think for the reduced noise levels.
Thanks as always for the great reviews and all the info you pass along. Much appreciated.

This is the number one reason I haven't done long tubes yet. The
noise is deafening. I willing to compromise some hp for less noise.
The below quote from super is exactly how I feel.
I'm hoping the solution Jim/Andy come up with does remedy this. Civility when not racing is something I strive for

If you want a little more power, my PLMs Manifolds and GT PRO X-Pipe are for sale. I'd love them to go to a local and I'll let them go for a super-low price.

Man all this talk about how loud these headers are when cold. Would somone mind making a video of a cold startup? I'm starting to wonder if they are indeed that loud or if you all are just big babies LOL!

^ Go all in..get the longtube headers. Especially if it's not your only car. It is ridiculously loud, but only at cold start and WOT. Otherwise, you're already noticed anyway with stock levels(at least my neighbor at the bottom of the hill--he likes it), so why try and be subtle about it? I don't think you'll regret it...And if even if you did, you could probably follow Super's path and get his sound reduction plan.

CONGRATS and welcome aboard!!
Wait till you add the 3" race exhaust that has an x-pipe, no resonators, and straight through mufflers if you want to call them that. LOL
You are going to love the track results!! Once again, congrats!!
PS: What did you say, I can't hear you!

These were NOT some of Superlubricity's best launches today, but they do capture the "unique" sound of his car pretty well!

I enjoyed the videos a lot..thanks for sharing. One thing though. one tenth improvement on the 60' will equal to two tenths of the ET. I expect Avengerboater to soon reach the 11's. Just by droping two tenths should put him at around 12 sec flat.
This is not just an observation but a true statement, a true fact.

Did you ever ran the car on the strip before swapping for the new mods(K2 and MHP headers)? I would like to know what is the improvement from before.

superlubricity- do you have the mhp tune as well?
Not sure if it would make a diff. Your times are a better than mine and I only have the mhp tune.
I wonder if your times would be better with the mhp tune for headers????
