Tearful Goodbye.
Ok, I didn't actually cry, but I am going to miss my white beast. Traded it in for something more red. Will unquestionably be back in an AMG sooner rather than later. *And as a side note, this is by far the best forum I have ever been apart of, so keep it up until I get back. Just love. ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

Literally too many reasons to list. The pro / con list literally got down to minutiae like SYNC versus MB Navi, etc.

C63 & Mustang Mach1(s)
Great choice, notice you got the Performace package. This new Aluminum block 5.4 is a great engine. Would love to know how the supercharged power delivery compares to the C63. Congrats

Dude, the Shelby ain't a bad car. It's a true muscle car! The bi-xenon headlight on the Shelby is very tasteful - especially at night. Your lucky to be able to drive the C 63 and now to Shelby. Enjoy the car!

The Shelby is like your name here...just the best. Not a bad choice at all, hope you are having fun in your new ride.

Sir, you have excellent taste in automobiles. You will love the GT500. Tough to compare to the C63. They are such different cars. Each is a beast in its own right. Here's mine:

That's why I have a Raptor & a GL550. ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Yours looks amazing. Stop by Starbucks with it sometime.
After being so concerned about the track performance with my C63 only to end up not getting it out to the track, I'm not too worried about the axle, although it could definitely use an update.
Yep.
BEAUTIFUL. Almost went with that color combo. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

The GT500 is a beautiful ride. I was very close to getting one myself. In the end, the Merc won me over. It was down to these two cars.
I went with the Merc because I favor an automatic transmission although I'm finding myself driving the C63 in Manual mode more often lately.
And I liked the C63's interior more than the GT500's.
Another thing was that I was coming from a 2010 supercharged Camaro so I just wasn't sure I wanted another supercharged muscle car at the time. I was tired of the hot summer causing high IAT's and lower timing.
I do believe the GT500 with the performance package is a great buy. If boost is your thing, you can't go wrong with the cast iron or the new alimunim blocks.
Congrats on the purchase.
