Just got the invite. I am trying for Sunday but Monday may be a better fit.
Are you flying in or driving?? The flight times on AC and WJet don't work to well....

I just signed up for myself & my brother in law... you have to have approval from your dealership if you want to have a guest at no charge... i think the AMG event will contact the dealership for approval. Since my brother in law's ML350 just arrived yesterday, it was not difficult to convince them.

BTW, do we have to have experience in race tracks? I'm more interested in test driving cars (to the limits occasionally) more than racing.

The cars in this event are all the AMG products except for the 65 series cars....the Dallas one I did had, C63,E63,CLS63,S63, CL63,CLK63 conv, SL63, SLK55, ML63. This similar event was held in April in Las Vegas with all of the above cars including the SLS...this is going to be lots of fun.

Also a heads up that there's not many Ultra 94 gas stations in Mont. Tremblant, I don't recall any actually. Watch out for cops on the highway, they're not friendly towards Ontarionians.

I have booked Friday as an alternate and emailed Eva to see if a switch to Monday is possible.
If I have to stay with Friday I will try and leave some rubber on the SLS for the rest of you...LOL

No luck with the helmets, they cost about $1400, so unless you stiff one(I wont tell) we cant...but we do get quite a loot bag, if I recall, we keep the AMG balclava, a AMG golf shirt, AMG ball cap, magazine and some other stuff. They really do go all out.

Use a radar detector if you have one, when driving on the twisties it is reaaaaally hard not to get excited. The hotel may even let us park the AMG's in front, this will be really cool to meet a bunch of you...I had the pleasure of meeting a bunch of MBWorld guys at the last one. FYI, I believe some of the Petro Cans do carry the ULtra94.

Close Nick. I missed booking Monday by about 10 minutes.
I had to move some meetings around and by the time I received the OK Monday was sold out. I have booked Friday as an alternate and emailed Eva to see if a switch to Monday is possible.

Just finished watching the Leafs game.
I'm flying up. I tend to fatigue driving 7 hours to Mont. Tremblant from Toronto. Been hearing from journalists that the most disappointing AMG car at the track is the SLK 55. That's not a big surprise since that car's chasis and engine is aging. The best balanced car after SLS is the C 63.

When I attended this, the worst car by far was the CLK63 Convertible, everyone rolled their eyes when it was they're turn to drive the chick car, it was so outdated...the SLK55 was alright, it was small, almost go-kart like, but it was gutless compared to all the other bigger motor cars. I recall, that at both events I attended, the instructors said that the C63 was the best track car, of course this was before the SLS was introduced...they even suggested the C63 was better on the track than the SL63, I was surprised.

Can someone explained how we get to drive all the cars? Do we take turn to drive each cars... as doing 1 lap (or 15min) with each car.

Roswell, we take turns to drive each car. Not sure how long we can drive for each car, I guess we all find out on that day. :P
