Don't listen to the nitpickers: That is a great deal on a great car! I would try and get more off but you will absolutely love this car and have no regrets if you are a true enthusiast.
Remember, what you are really getting is the engine.

I couldn't agree more. Keep that $70k in your bank (for now). Buyer's remorse on a $70k purchase may have brought you a lot of heartache and stress. Not worth it.

I hope that clarifies things for you.

I was concerned about the aftermarket front park distance sensor thing that the dealer has installed on the car. It does not sit flush with the bumper and might be an eye sore in the long run (and potentially bad for resale when it comes time to get rid of the car). Also unsure if i want to pay 2500 for carbon fiber trim.

It took me a week to close my deal on a C63, but look at me now I was told by the dealer, that as the year ends and Mercedes is meeting their sales goals, less money will be offered for trunk money. The last time I inquired into this it was down to 5K. I'm glad that I acted on my when i did.

@Yuille36: That goes somewhat counter to what I've heard from MB dealers in CA and TX, as they've mentioned that year end deals were available last year and will be available this year. But that could just be the sales guy talking...
Isn't there usually a Mercedes Benz winter sale? I seem to recall seeing ads last year with a big *** bow on the cars.
Playing devil's advocate, what would be the likelyhood of purchasing a new 2010 or 2011 C63 AMG in the dead of winter from a stateside dealer for 10K (or above) off?

Look at Rosner MB in Fredericksburg, VA. They have a red fully optioned minus P30 car for $56K MSRP $71K that they are really want to sell. I'm sure it can probably be had for $54K. I'd buy it at that price but I don't like red. BTW, I'm open for a quick meet on a nice week-end, Tysons Corner anyone?
