I would like to share some comments with you, about what the General Manager of Euromotorcars of Bethesda had to say about the AMG meet.

I had a conversation with our General Manager and he was very pleased. He also wanted me to share that he really appreciated the E-mail that you sent to MBUSA. The AMG club has a home here at Euro. Thanks again for providing us with the opportunity.

Contacted me yesterday, he has some AMG magazines from MBUSA, that he would like to give to our AMG Club members. I provided him with the email addresses that I've collected, so you should see an email from Brian asking you for your home address so that he can mail these magazines out to you all. It's up to you whether you want to provide this information to him or not.

AMG Tech Session
I had a chat with Steve Erlichman from MBUSA yesterday. I posed the question to him about, AMG possibly having tech sessions for our AMG owners at various AMG Performance Centers, specifically at Euromotorcars of Bethesda. His comment was, that is a dam good idea, and that he will contact Mr. Willard, and the gang at Euromotorcars to gauge their interests in hosting such an event. So I'm working on this for the Spring, AMG event.

Well this was a little wierd, as I was driving home from Stafford VA today, and I recieve a phone call from the General Manager at Euromotorcars. He tells me if a need anything for our little AMG Club to just let him know. If we want to hold a monthly club meeting, that I have his support. This is freaking awesome, I knew that sending emails to MBUSA would pay dividends. He said to just let Brian know what my needs are, and he'll make it happen.

judging from the turnout, i missed some amazing cars. plus now i am very pleased with my amg appearence-wise where i was in the middle of modding when it happened. i think i have done well with it in the 2 months ive had it. not as nice as all of yours but...

oh yuille, any chance your contacts would be able to hook us up with specification info, wiring scematics and repair procedures? That would be awesome bc i have a ton of mods planned and free info is scarce.

I asked him, if the Management has expressed any interests to him yet, and he said not yet. But the good news is that next Wed, Steve Erlichman (AMG Training Manager for North America) will be present to discuss some of my ideas for the "Tech Sessions" among other things. Brian mentioned that their going to have a big Management meeting come Jan 3rd, to plan for next years events at the dealership, and I'm invited. The best news is that their opened to alot of my ideas, for future AMG Club events. So I'm throwing out a feeler, to gauge what interests my fellow AMG owners wants to see at our next event, so they can start planning for it? Good, bad or indifferent? All ideas will be entertained for possible inception. So please tell me you think?

As they are an AMG Performance Center Dealership, they will have the right contacts at MBUSA that can potentially support the dealership in AMG initiatives. I'm interested although, I don't have a C55, but the C63. 
If your in the area, I'm planning a get together for AMG owners soon, I'm working with Euromotorcars to coordinate it. They are looking at doing a Formula One event in March, but we're working on other events for the rest of the year. For this year we're planning on doing an event every 6 weeks, and for 2012 one event a month. We will see how it works out. I just talked to my Brian at Euromotorcars, he's presenting our strategy paper to Management soon, he just needs to gather cost data. Hopefully they will approve our events for this year.

Many associate the AMG Performance Center with Affalterbach, in regards to individualizing your AMG with performance parts, suspension, interiors, etc. But this isn't the role of the Performance Centers. But what are the centers currently doing, nothing......currently. And I don’t think that was intent of the centers. Euromotorcars thrives to be the center of all thing AMG in the DC Metro area, and with your help I think that we can achieve this. Can I count on your support?
