Has anyone see a 2011 C63 AMG customized with the lightening package? I've done my research and searching of several sites that both say that the package is available at cost (approx $985), as well as, not applicable.

I also have visited a number of dealerships stateside that have quoted me a price for it, despite the fact that it doesn't seem to be an applicable package for the C63.

Thoughts on the package?

For 2011, the Lighting package includes the Bi-xenons, cornering fogs and LED taillights. They are not part of the P2 package for the 2011 MY.

That's correct. MB changed their packaging from 2010 to 2011 with a couple of noted exceptions, as you mentioned.

We'll see how things work out as it's one of those "nice to have" instead of must have for this car.

Actually, Bi-xenons are a Must have for a C63. It's kind of odd to see a car that's not equiped with xenons when you're already paying so much for the car. Just like I couldn't see myself in a 2010 C63 without P2, I can't see myself in a 2011 without the lighting package. Just my 2 cents.

Damn... I took the tittle of your thread seriously and I was like "What, a lightening package? Sweet, Superleggra C63!". I was expecting like a stripped out rear seat, no sound deadening, CF bucket seats... etc

That's like saying Leather should be standard, so should navi, and back up camera and basically everything for the price of teh vehicle. lol Then you wake up and realize you just bought a Mercedes....and you just got raped. lol

im new to this forum and im about to get a 2011 c63 real soon. it has every package but the lighting or the p31. does this mean it doesnt have the black housing around the lights?

Came to my senses today after a night of lots of work and caffeine. Lightening package? WTF? Ahh good times. You guys know what I meant.

IMO, any C63 AMG 2011 should be equipped minimally with:
* Multimedia Package
* Lighting Package
* AMG Seating Package

Nice to have's but not necessary
* Rear camera
* Keyless go
* Heated front seats
* UMI
* Amg illuminated door seals
* chrome door handles
* Development Package
* Others...

You should included Heated Front Seats as a must have. There has been countless times where my aching back was soothed by the toasty heated front seats. IMO, the rear view camera that MB equips the cars with are complete garbage. Absolute waste of money!!!

I had installed an aftermarket Kenwood backup camera in the CORRECT location in my 09 c350 that I traded for the 10 c63. I was expecting it to be of similar quality, if not better. The factory camera is skewed to the right side of the car and not at the center location where it should be, and the quality of the camera is archiac at best. Do yourself a favor, don't buy the factory camera and install it yourself for 200 bucks. It wasn't that hard to do.

I have keyless go and it's nice to have, but not a MUST HAVE in my opinion. I like bling, so I would have liked to have the illuminated door sills.
