35k or not, lucky no one really cares, not even the staff. One call to the insurance company, few weeks later, it's all fixed for probably like $500 (the excess the customer would have paid). Apart from the embarrassment, if I did the same, it would really be of no concern.

I live near here and that street is a major cluster. I personally would have made the dealer back that thing out and have me drive it somewhere with less chaos.

Why is someone taking it on a test drive? Seriously? Is there a debate your about to drop about 1.7m on it, if you dont like the way it rides?
In this rare instance, the dealer has the right to say, go F yourself, pay up or get out. That car will sell itself, its simple economics.

that happened last year i believe.rumor was that it was an insurance job.i dont remember the outcome of that story though.you gotta be one dumb *** to try and avoid a bird and through ur bugatti in the drink.if thats the true story,than that guy should not be driving anything more than a prius.

I never heard about him going to jail... it would be tough for the insurance company to prove he drove it in the lake on purpose (even though he happens to be the owner of an exotic car restoration service). Last I heard he bought a new one
