I think I found my new car to replace the C in a year or two

The 2012 GT-R

Just look at the pics.
I love the Egoist version minus the strange exhaust tips.

One of the best performance cars for buck, no doubt!

7:24.22 lap time at the ring conducted by Nissan >>> Zonda F, Enzo, and Carrera GT... !
...

Let's wait and see more videos in the coming of this confirmed time if true...too good to believe atm!

The Ford is a great competitor but with the GT-R you can use these 523bhp in all weather conditions. The AWD gives it so much grip it's just insane, whereas the GT500... well we all know what RWD is worth in the rain...

I've raced against the GT500 on the track and I would say the general performance of this car is very similar to ours.

I really like the GTR but I'm not 100% sure about the looks. I guess you like it or you don't. I'm not saying you buy a car for looks, but it still comes in the balance. That's why a Ferrari/Lambo buyer is not a GTR buyer.

+1 and sorry if I offend those that bought it (or thinking of buying it) but I still can't justify 100k on a Nissan...

I think condensing a vehicle to a name plate isn't a very thoughtful way to assess it.

That is what I thought when I bought my first $80,000 Dodge......er Viper. Bought several of them over a 10 year span and it was a great car!!!

I am a 31 year old in good physical shape, around 6'0, 190, and work out regularly. After driving the car for 40 minutes I needed to get out and stretch my back out. I have 0 back problems or pains, but after sitting in those ***** of an excuse for sport seats I wanted to get out of the car as soon as I could. Needless to say I didn't buy it.

Car is fast, but is uncomfortable as all hell. You have to drive it for around an hour to know what I mean. Go on GTR forums and see how people that use the car as a DD are scrambling to replace their OE seats.

And yes... although you may have never figured seats to be a reason not to get a sports car, I can promise you that you will think twice once you have some drive time in traffic in the GTR. You and I my friends are spoiled by German sport seats, and there is no replacing them.

I dont know what your referring to since I also own 2 japanese vehicles which tells you that I have nothing against japanese cars, in fact, I think they are the most reliable cars money can buy. Now for around $100,000 which is what a brand new GT-R costs I would rather buy a German car. In my honest opinion even exchanging an entry level C63 for a Nissan GT-R is still a downgrade. Like I said no offense to whoever bought the car, there is simply nothing that catches my attention about it. What other car would I consider for 100k that wasn't European? Probably a ZR-1.

GTR would be great for performance.

However, you'll certainly know you aren't sitting in a Mercedes anymore.
