alignment specs

Does anyone have/know the factory alignment specs for the C63. We all have tire wear issues, ~4k for rears. Could be a lot of different issues, weight, power, light rear end etc. My guess is that the factory is running a lot of rear toe in to make the car super stable under braking and turn in. Problem is that you sacrifice tire wear. I found the alignment specs for one of the board members, he's running .25 inches of rear toe in per side, or .5 inches of total toe. That is a lot. Unless MB is compensating for the toe link bushings flexing under braking .5 inches of static toe seems excessive.

Anybody? Class? Anyone? Buehler? I've been wondering exactly the same thing. It's the toe-in spec that is killing our rear tires. Somebody on this forum must have access to the actual factory alignment specs, and more importantly how they compare to similar performance cars. I have read several places that more than .25 inch of total toe-in will eat tires. If the C63 has .50 inch of rear toe-in, plus a little neg camber, plus 450hp, plus 4000 pounds, that's a guaranteed recipe for horrific rear tire wear, which is exactly what we have.

Thanks genius, I never thought of that. You must work for the government with that big brain of yours. But, actually, I was looking for an answer to the OP's question.

Wow, you have degrees? That's impressive. Is one of them a Masters in Doucheology?
