What AMG really stands for?
People, I want to hear what you come up with for the acronym "AMG". I know that it stands for and means, I'm not ignorant.
I would like to hear your thoughts about what AMG means to you. And please lighten up, this is supposed to be fun.
My acronym for AMG is "All Most a Grand"
Meaning any part that has AMG written on it is expensive.

I know that, they are the initials of the founders, Aufrecht, Melcher and Grossapach the old mill. I should have re-phrased the question. What is your interpretation of the letters AMG. Mine is "All Most a Grand" I want to see what people come up with.

Truthfully, according to Mercedes-Benz, AMG “…comes from Hans Werner Aufrecht (A) and Erhard Melcher (M) who founded the company at the Old Mill in Burgstall near Grossaspach (G), the birthplace of Hans Werner Aufrecht. [Their organization was] originally named ‘Engineering office for the Design and Testing of Racing Engines.’ Later, the name was shortened to simply ‘AMG’.”
