Good Morning Guys,
I ask Carl Monday about the production and how quickly he can start shipping them. Here was his response:
Keith,
The hood is ready for opening the vents, however the temperature here is low, so we need to wait more time to make sure the hood is flat.
And some masters do not come back on time , because it is not easy to get the train tickets just after the holidays, too many people need to get the tickets to come back from their holidays.
They may be late a few days.
I will let you know the updates.

Maverick - It will ship this week!! FINALLY!!
If you have paid in full including the air then they will ship this week!!
If you opted for air delivery then I need your final deposit and the air paid asap. He will have five complete and ready by the end of this week to me!

What's the status of my hood? I know we spoke briefly about painting
it, which I still want to do. All I have sent you is my deposit, I'll gladly
send you the rest. Can you send me a paypal invoice for the rest +

PLEASE let me know asap and make your final payent which will include the air (+$310). If you need the final amount please send me a PM and we can square up.

I will have an update tomorrow. OEtuning doesn't need theirs air so if anyone else wants theirs air I have a spot for one. Its $310 extra but otherwise we are looking at April for the batch to arrive via sea freight. Please let me know if anyone wants to do air.
PetroC63 and Faresuae have paid for the air and waiting. These three should ship the end of this week.

Is mine shipping regardless of a third person? If not, I'll pay extra
to get the hood shipped this week. I told Dave(Sanford Paint) that
the hood will arrive for painting at the end of this week or some time
next week.

PetroC63, as soon as yours arrives I'll take it to Dave. I dropped my car off this morning to get mine blended like the last one and let him know when your hood would be coming and he said he's ready. Only takes him a couple of days.
If anyone else wants theirs finished off with either additional block sanding and clear coat or some painting let me know.
Anyone else received theirs and have new pictures??

The hoods are clear coated and read to go. However, for the ultimate look and feel Dave will block sand (Get rid of the tiny pits and hills on the hood and make it look wet all the time. Then clear coat it and that will help protect it from the elements. I highly suggest it for the best finish and look.
