photoshop help on dct 3 piece front lip

https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...eady-ship.html

i have this lip in carbon fiber. my car is white. i'm trying to decide whether to keep it all unpainted, or paint just the top piece, or just paint the bottom piece... the last choice i have no idea what it might look like

i've seen a lot of pics of the top piece painted and i think it looks pretty good...

but haven't seen enough pics of it entirely unpainted on a lighter colored car...

i was hoping some members could whip something up in photoshop and help me decide.

awesome

now i'm just curious about what it would look like if the bottom piece was body color.

i'm assuming you liked the unpainted look on your white car... any thoughts of changing it later?

I'm with you bluejae, too much CF on a white car is not always good. I'm only missing 1 pc to complete my car... a CF trunk spoiler & i'm still on the fence on this one unless I see a pic of it half painted.

I think your lip would look good with the top painted white & leave the CF insert.

Definitely paint the top portion. Looks cleaner that way. All CF looks too "tacked" on. Just my opinion.

yeah... i'm leaning towards just the top piece painted...

damn... now if i put my car in the shop, it'll probably take an extra day... if i don't paint it at all.. i could get the car back the same day...

finding a ride is always an issue... arrrgh

You could always wrap it in white vinyl. This way it looks painted, and protects the CF, and if you dont like it you can peel it off.
